Description
Leaving Santiago, we will begin by visiting one of the best-known wineries in the area, to taste 3 different varieties of Albariño wine, as well as some snacks, all to get to know the liquid gold of the area.Leaving this wonderful tasting, we will head to Praia da Lanzada, a place that hides Celtic legends and traditions, as well as Christian rituals. We will arrive, and we will delight in the beautiful panoramic view that the bay leaves us, as well as the sea breaking tirelessly against the stones.
What would it be like to come to the Rias Baixas and not know Illa da Toxa? We will visit the island, with its famous Capela das Cunchas, a chapel completely covered in scallop shells, as well as its bridge that connects O Grove with A Toxa.
The Galician waters and rafts are world-famous, so we will take you for a walk along the coast on a catamaran to learn about this very particular way of raising the delicious Galician mussels. Here on the boat we will have a ride of approximately 1 hour where we will taste mussels, wine, soft drinks and water while we sail through the Ria de Arousa.
After eating mussels, and other seafood that they can offer us, we head to one of the most charming towns in Galicia, Combarro. Its granaries, near the sea, its stone houses, its well-kept streets, make this small town an authentic unforgettable place in which to walk. We will have time to get lost in its streets and learn about the tradition of our community.
To finish, we will relax in the Rio Barosa Natural Park, a place with great charm, with its series of mills and waterfalls that make it, not in vain, one of the most visited places by people in the area.
We will return to Santiago de Compostela, after getting to know this wonderful part of the Galician coast, with all its traditions and having tried its precious culinary treasures.
