OUR PONTEVEDRA AND VIGO LIGHTS TOUR: EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC OF GALICIA
Our Pontevedra and Vigo Lights Tour is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the magic of Galicia during the most special time of the year. This journey combines charm, comfort, and unforgettable moments.
After meeting at the designated pickup point, we will begin our tour of Pontevedra, a city that has received countless international awards in recent years. Let’s discover why!
We will start with a guided tour of Pontevedra’s old town, strolling through the cobbled streets and squares such as La Verdura, La Leña, La Herrería, and La Peregrina. We will also stop at the city’s main monuments, including Santa María Church, the Convent of San Francisco, and the Chapel of La Peregrina. Did you know that the latter has a floor plan shaped like a scallop shell?
After the Pontevedra tour, we will travel to Moaña, a charming fishing village nestled in the Ría de Vigo. From there, we will board a boat to Vigo, enjoying views of the Cíes Islands and the town of Cangas along the way.
Once on solid ground, we will head to Vigo’s historic center. Here, you’ll wander through the streets of a city born from its connection to the port. We will walk to Calle Príncipe, where you will have approximately four hours of free time to explore and enjoy Vigo’s spectacular Christmas lights.
Vigo is renowned for its incredible holiday decorations. Millions of LED lights transform the city into a dazzling display, featuring a giant Christmas tree, illuminated tunnels, and decorative figures that delight everyone. Our guide will take you to the city’s highlights to ensure you experience the magic to the fullest.
Finally, we will meet at the Vigo port to board the return boat, followed by transportation from Moaña back to Pontevedra or Santiago de Compostela. Arrival is expected approximately eight to nine hours later.
