“Fabulous time in a funky fun filled hotel”

Loved everything about our stay- it even smelt of sweeties!! Totally exceeded our expectations. All the public areas were amazing, the decor was fab,the food delicious and plentiful and our rooms lovely.

    “3 star at best!”

Returned this week following a weeks stay here after out original holiday was cancelled due to Thomas Cook. Certainly not a 4 star hotel as advertised for a number of reasons. I’ll break it down as it’s going to be the easiest way: Check in Nice & easy check in, arrived at around 23:15 and the hotel was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop there wasn’t a sole in sight expect the receptionist. Checked us in within 5 minutes, gave us our room key and a map to enable us to find our room and sorted us our room safe out which was only 3 euros per night. We asked if we were able to get a drink from anywhere and was told the bar was open until midnight however they refused to serve us saying that all inclusive shuts at 23:30 but they would serve us if we wanted to pay! Be aware of this! Rooms Cannot fault the rooms at all! Lovely big modern rooms with separate living, kitchen and bedrooms. Flat screen tv on the wall and nice clean spacious balcony with comfy chairs. Housekeeping do a brilliant job from what we found as everyday our towels were replaced and room left spotless. However did find one issue a small dead spider under my pillow. Food & drinks If you go on holiday to get stuck into your food and expect a wide selection this is not the place for you to enjoy your all inclusive. Very limited selection on offer each lunch time & evening and we found that it was repeated every couple of days. Myself and my husband both struggled so when there was chicken one night we were pleased and looked forward to it however when we arrived at the chef he placed a piece of chicken on my husbands plate the quarter of a the size of a chicken breast which after 2 mouthfuls was gone. When he asked for another piece to go with this he was told no and it’s only 1 piece each... most meals ended in pizza, chips and veg. We ended up eating out one night which was fantastic at the local Irish bar which I defo recommend! Lunch time pool selection there was always something you could get by with however this was the same each day, hotdogs, chips, burgers and boiled eggs. However all of this is covered as best as they can but people leave the lids half off and there are a number of flies landing throughout. We also found this selection to be cold on a few occasions due to being left standing too long. Overall food was shocking! If your travelling with children this hotel certainly isn’t for you! Hotel staff We found that the hotel was very French centred as all the staff including entertainment staff are fluent in Spanish and french. English not so much so the staff hardly acknowledge you. Entertainment There is a kids mini disco from early on in the night until around 21:00. There is then a break until 21:30 which is when the adult entertainment is on for an hour. Following this I have never been to a hotel where at 22:30 it is like a ghost town! Everyone gets up and leaves to go back to their rooms. The entertainment staff go off to where ever they go to, all the bar staff come round cleaning and rearranging tables getting ready to leave and there isn’t a single thing going on not even a bit of music in the background. The french had their own entertainment going on at the front of the hotel at night time which looked like a quiz however this was only for the french. Once you have had your meal there is nothing going on for adults until 21:30 and then it is only for the hour. You have to make your own so I recommend you take a packet of cards or go out for a walk to the local couple of bars. Hotel grounds Needs a lot of work doing to maintain these. As we were there they were doing maintenance on the pool area so listened to building work going on for a number of days. The flooring needs to be looked into as where it is all breaking someone is going to end up tripping over and hurting themselves (see photos). Very tired in general when you walk around. This is something that if maintained would make a massive difference to the place. Toilets around the pool constantly had a horrible smell in there throughout the day and made going in there a very unpleasant couple of minutes. Again something that would make a big difference. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice 4 star break away! All the potential is there if the management decided they wanted to make the effort to put the work in however certainly not a 4 star hotel!

    “Half term break”

A lovely hotel. Clean and tidy, beds are amazing! Food was nice - was always something the kids liked too. Location - perfect if you don’t want to do much. Local beach nice to look at — but not practical. Quite far from attractions.

    “Week away”

Nice to get away to the sun. Hotel good for families kids club etc ... 3 pools but beware they are cold .... sea was warmer ... large hotel but kept clean although at the moment they are doing works on one or the other pools and surrounding area . Plenty sun beds and you can find a quiet corner if needed.... middle pool area by snack bar is very noisy as they do the activities around that one.

    “Disappointing”

A very large complex. The room was excellent with a kitchenette and the three swimming pools and surrounds are great. Breakfasts are good but the atmosphere and food in dining room less so. Poor service in bar. Staff friendliness was non-existent and I did not feel welcome. With so many people staying at the hotel I felt the entertainment was underwhelming.
