    “Great location and friendly staff”

    Right on Palm Berach and one of the not too many that offer all inclusive. Has Mexican, Italian, Caribbean Seafood and Japanese restaurants (visited Japanese multiple times-my pick to click!). Note: make dinner reservations well in advance as the preferred sittings at the restaurants can be difficult to come by. Activities staff super fun as were the bar tenders. Servers in the two general buffet restaurants areas not so good. Seemed like we had to beg for refills. Property overall is great but some rooms beginning to show their age. We had issues with our patio door and bathroom sink faucet which were never addressed by the time we left. Good security and a casino next to lobby bar.

    “Wonderful vacation!”

    Excellent location - right on the beach! Plenty of food choices - the buffet has something for everyone. Beautiful beach and pool. Nice, quiet, and clean room with a beautiful view. Nice bathroom. Very safe.

    “Wonderful GetAway”

    A great get-away for my husband and I from the winter weather. Food and staff at the Barcelo were excellent. The spectacular beaches and amenities were exactly what I needed for a relaxing vacation. All the hotel restaurants were fabulous with high quality food and accommodating wait staff. Went to an outside restaurant one evening - Madame Jeannette that I would highly recommend. I will definitely go back there soon!

    “great girls trip!”

    I would highly recommend this hotel. it is only 15 min from the airport. The beach is perfect, you can always find a chair on the beach. The pool is nice but people do save chairs starting early in the morning. The restaurants are good, particularly the Japanese. We had connecting rooms which were clean and comfy (great beds). It is clean, safe, quiet and people don't bug you!

    “Disappointment!!”

    From the moment we arrived, things just deteriorated. We didn't receive the room we initially booked (ocean view). instead, we got a parking lot view. The room was definitely downgraded. doors and beds were beaten- up. There was no hot water in the shower during the evening hours (when you need it the most). Food quality is definitely not a 5-star hotel !! we ended up eating outside of the resort. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! To all of our complaints, stuff wasn't useful. they kept promising us to solve the issues but nothing was done. Before we left, we were promised (by Martin the manager) to receive compensation within 24 hours. We received NOTHING! The only good thing about the resort was the location but again, there are plenty to choose from right next door. SHAME!!!
