    “Service .”

    Had a great experience at the Barcelo all inclusive Was given a great room by Jenny loved my room and room service Everyone was very polite. Meals at the buffet restaurant were very good no problem there However the Italian restaurant could be a little more authentic, fettuccini and the cream of lentil have to GO. OTHER WISE WAS VERY PLEASED AND WOULD RETURN

    “Not a good place to stay”

    The hotel grounds, lobby, and pool areas are very nice. The location on Palm Beach is also gorgeous. However, the hallways and rooms smelled moldy probably due to the building leaking during rainstorms. Our first day there, it poured, causing large puddles of standing water to accumulate in the hallway by the elevator on our floor (5th). Our room also smelled moldy. The first room smelled so bad that we asked to be moved to another room down the hall. It didn't smell much better. The building itself, especially their very tiny "balconies" were in need of repair, lots of dings and chipped paint. Our room was always very clean and spotless after the maid came in and the common areas were also clean. This was an all-inclusive resort and the food was terrible! I think maybe the alcohol was also watered down as I never tasted the alcohol or ever felt it. It's not that I wanted to get drunk, but I wanted to at least taste the alcohol in my drinks. I am usually pretty easy to please, but I had the worst case of diarrhea I have ever had while travelling from eating at this place. Normally, I NEVER get sick and I have been around the world to several foreign countries. We usually ate breakfast there and the food was almost always dried out, as if they saved food from the day before. We were usually there fairly early, too, so it's not like we ate food sitting there drying out all morning. Even the specialty restaurants were bad with the exception of the Japanese restaurant on site. We ate off site after the third day, but by then my gastric distress had already started. My diarrhea persisted for the rest of the week, unfortunately, which put a real damper on the rest of the vacation. Another thing I didn't like was that the employees always had their hands out for "tips", even if all they did was call a taxi for you or even open up the door for you. I was under the belief that tipping wasn't necessary at an all inclusive resort unless extraordinary service was given. I did not experience anything extraordinary at the Barcelo from their employees except maybe the maids. All in all, a very disappointing trip for my husband and I and I would not recommend or return to this place.

    “Love this resort best all inclusive”

    Returned from a stay at the Royal Club; upgrade it's definitely worth it!! Thank you Sandra Steba and your crew; you guys are amazing: Love having private beach bar for Royal Club:;Jermin and Gilmer; thank you!! The room was cleaned like it was brand new; housekeeping at any resort is very important' they get an A for that, Beach, pool; lobby and grounds are cleaned continuously, Ricardo and Jennifer good job! Book this hotel; not sure how others have any concerns it's perfectly located with all amenities needed: Thank you Barcelo, see you again with friends who want to come after watching our videos:

    “First Timers to All-Inclusive Resorts”

    Service Desk: We were welcomed with a refreshing drink. The check in and check out process proceeded like clockwork. Everything was in order. Very friendly. Restaurants: Extremely friendly and attentive staff to care for your every need. Great selection of food with an Arubian flair for cultural experience. Delicious. Room: Very comfortable beds and very clean room. Cleaned for us daily. Another treat; a welcome bottle of wine with chocolates and a wet bar included. Very nice. Pool bar and Lounge: Bartenders hustle to make sure everyone gets served and replenished repeatedly in short order...awesome job guys. Pool and beach: Very short walk to rooms, bar, and restaurants. Kept very clean and beautiful. Beach attendants there to help carry lawn chairs for you. Plus beach wait staff there to bring you a refreshing cocktail while lounging. Activities: Fun activities daily with nightly entertainment. Awesome.

    “Sandra Steba & Marylnn & House Keeping make our trip to Barcelo so enjoyable!”

    The house keeping lady who took care of our room in 2715 did an outstanding job of making our 1 Bedroom suite feel like home when we would come back to our room from being at the beach or pool all day. Hats off to Sandra for going above and beyond for our family. She clearly is an asset to the resort because our vacations there for the last ten years is so memorable. Lastly, a big shout out to Marlynn who greets us once we arrive and gets our family situated. It's always a warm hug and smiles from her which really sets the tone for 10 day stay at the resort. She is another class act that works at the resort. A giant thank you to the amazing staff at Barcelo and for making us family.
