    “Disappointing - Try Elsewhere”

    Very disappointing visit to the Barcelo in Aruba. Definitely not the five star resort they claim to be or even four stars. Our first room had an issue with condensation making the floor and bed wet, the next room we were given temporarily was missing all towels in the bathroom, and finally the free pool view upgrade room had a broken shower that we had to call maintenance to replace. Even if the rooms didn’t have issues they are old and not very nice. Lastly, the all inclusive food was hardly worth eating, the buffets were gross and the specialty restaurants were OK at best (that’s assuming that you were even able to get a reservation in the first place before it was full). Something to note is that WiFi is not included and you have to buy WiFi Pass per each device you want to connect. Staff were mostly friendly.

    “Atmosphere is outstanding”

    We've stayed here 5 times and will for sure stay again. The beach is excellent and the staff is great. The Japanese restaurant and the Italian restaurant are a must. I highly recommend staying at Barcelo Aruba.

    “Amazing Visit to Aruba”

    I stayed here for 4 days and three nights and it was a great place to stay in Aruba. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and willing to accommodate any request that you may have. Housekeeping does a great job, but my only issue with the room was the fact that it was sooooooooooooooo cold and I was unable to control the temperature myself. Food in any all-inclusive is mediocre and this one was just about the same, but the drinks were amazing!!! From the guys at the pool bar to the guys on the beach, the drinks did not disappoint! I would definitely go back here when I visit Aruba again.

    “Awesome location”

    We stayed at the Barcelo for our honeymoon and it was great! The staff was all very friendly and the location is close to all of the shops and restaurants. The Japanese restaurant on the resort was very good and our chef, Boy, made it a ton of fun. Jorge was on the beach making sure that we had everything we needed and was very engaging. I would definitely recommend staying here. One tiny thing that I would change, is the size of the drinks. The cups thy use at the pool are very small (6oz), so I would recommend bringing your own cup to have them fill up.

    “Amazing, relaxing, fun vacation for 17 years at Barcelo!”

    We have been coming to this resort for 17 years! The staff will make you feel at home on your very first visit. Natasha Vreeswijk will get you settled in to the Royal Club and assist with reservations and activities! We love her and the rest of the staff including, Cesar, Michael, Angela, Theo and all the rest! Book your trip, relax, enjoy and REPEAT!

    “Amazing Visit to Aruba”


    I stayed here for 4 days and three nights and it was a great place to stay in Aruba. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and willing to accommodate any request that you may have.
