“Well situated for attractions and shopping”

We arrived at Hotel Carmen later than planned having driven from Malaga in the dark, but the staff were marvellous. By a stroke of luck we arrived using the Sat Nav just 10 mins after the nearby traffic curfew ended. Turning the corner into the hotel's street we could see its name opposite El Corte Ingles. Having heeded a tip in previous reviews we asked if a member of staff would take our car to the hotel car park, which he did bringing our luggage to our room as well..... Well worth a decent tip ! Our room was excellent and clean, and breakfast plentiful and well serviced. We made use of the welcome roof top pool in late afternoon when the temperature in Granada was well in the 30s. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Hotel Carmen. Tip* Purchase a decent street map before arriving by car.

    “Excellent all round”

Got straight off the airport bus and there was the hotel within 50 metre, perfect location, we Stayed for 7 nights at this excellent hotel, our room was large with 2 double beds with balcony which was a lovely surprise, our room was on the 4th floor and at the side of the hotel, the view wasn't great but that wasn't a problem as it was quiet. Large flat screen tele with only BBC news in English but we weren't there to watch the tele. Bathroom clean, toiletries supplied, shower over bath, no hand rails or non-slip mat in the bath, so had to get in and out carefully as it could be slippery if not to steady on your feet. In room safe and fridge. Breakfast was included in the room rate there was always plenty of choice mainly continental and constantly being replenished, the dining room was huge so never a problem getting a table and breakfast is served until 10:30 bonus after a late night. The hotel pool is very small but for a city again a bonus. We didn't use the area during the day as it was 38c+ most days. We did have dinner on the roof top terrace two evenings and it was very good, U.K. Prices but the quality was excellent, especially the filo wrapped tiger prawns. The drinks were very reasonable a bottle of wine €14. Cocktails €8. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the reception staff, who provided maps, transport info etc. It's opposite a large departments store which has a grocery department so you could get water snacks for the day etc. There are numerous bars/restaurants all around the area for drinks/dinner. The area is also very safe. The only thing I would have liked is tea/coffe in the room as I do miss my early morning coffee. Top tip book direct with the hotel, they offer the best rate available and their rates include breakfast where a number of the sites are room only. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Granada.

“Great value hotel with 'splash pool' and roof terrace”

The hotel is pleasant, but a little more old fashioned in style. The staff were very helpful. Our standard room had a large terrace but a rather old-fashioned bathroom (but still with a powerful shower). The hotel has a nice rooftop bar and small pool, which is excellent to cool down during the Andalusian summer. The pool was also pretty quiet.

    “Great Location”

Nicely situated right across the street "El Corte Ingles", a department store that gives a certain category to the area, safe and top rating. The Staff is very pleasant. Nice swimming pool, Good breakfast

“A comfortable treasure in heart of Granada”

This hotel is nicely maintained with comfortable rooms. Roof top has wonderful view of city and the Alhambra, check it out at night to experience the stunning lights. Staff were helpful. Morning buffet was nicely presented and most adequate. For a nice stay in Granada this is my recommendation.

A discount* or promotional code (also appears as “promo code”) is a combination of letters and/or numbers that gives a discount on the normal rate. If you have a discount code, enter it when booking and you will receive a discount on your booking. Once you have entered this code, the prices shown in step 1 of the booking process will already include the relevant discount.

The discount does not apply to prices on extras and/or extra services, neither does it apply to prices on last available rooms. You can only apply one discount code per booking which will only be valid at the time of making your booking.**

The maximum amount of accumulated discount will be at most 25% off the rate for hotels in Latin America and at most 20% off the rate for European and Mediterranean hotels.
