    “Honest Review”

    Our room was clean and decent. We didn’t like that it was always an issue requesting for clean towels. The woman a the front end was rude. Also, the receptionists at the reserved restaurants were unfriendly and they had poor customer service skills. We stood in line waiting to be seated and the receptionist would seat individuals that were behind us. This happened twice during our vacation. We received better service at the buffet. Overall, we would not stay at this resort again.

    “excellent”

    excellent, good hotel to stay and enjoy by yourself, couples, family or group, Over all, it is clean, almost all rooms faced to the beach and swimming pools, you don't have to go through the hostile of taking those travel Carts from one building to another that makes you waist time and patience.

    “Omar is the best bartender.”

    The resort as a whole wasn't the best, the food wasn't very appetizing, there wasn't anything do on rainy days. But had a lot of amazing employees, especially our favorite bartender Omar he was the absolute best!!!

    “" HOTEL IS VERY NICE AND CLEAN"”

    This was my first time at Occidental Caribe Hotel . I been to PUNTA CANA SO MAY TIME AND DIFFERENT HOTEL. But this one was my favorite one. I will definitely will go back to this hotel. The staff they were very nice. beautiful beach. They pool was beautiful as well. the bar " OMG" you have option good liquor the had my favorite one BAILEYS. High recommendation.

    “Vacation from hell”

    We upgraded to ocean view room during check in but instead got a pool view on the 3 rd floor. The room was located right above the buffet area so we heard dishes all day long and then loud parties in the night at the pool. The room smelled like mold. The next day we asked for the room to be changed. Although the staff was helpful and gave us a much better view on the top floor, we have been barely able to catch any rest since we have been hearing the child yell next door through out the day since 5am. The walls have no insulation at all and can hear everything next door even the flush of their toilet. I would give one star for the food as well. The hotel over all is dated and is in dire need of renovation. The common areas, offices, rooms and bathrooms are not clean and are dated. We travel a lot and visit Dominican Republic every year. We always pick the all inclusive option. This is the first time I’ve ever had to pay for room service and WiFi. Food: Our first night we went to Dominican restaurant for dinner. We waited for almost more than an hour to get our dinner and were not offered drinks at all. We eventually ended up getting up and asking for drinks by the bar. The food, of course, was cold by the time it was served after an hour and was not tasty at all. The japenense place is much better and has edible food, desserts and much better service. The buffet is huge and has plenty of options but the quality and taste of the food is not good at all. Worse than the food served at a cheap pub- stale and partially cooked. The only thing, I can say, I appreciate is the bar. The staff and the drinks are much better. Something I can use to help me get through this trip. If we weren’t here for a birthday celebration I would have moved to another hotel without question! We leave on 10/9 and I cannot wait to go back home and get some rest and good food.
