Best nightlife areas in Torremolinos, pubs and bars to suit all tastes

The pedestrianised section in the centre, Pueblo Blanco, used to be the nightlife area. It still has many bars and terraces where you can have a beer or something stronger but, in recent years, most of the nightlife has moved to the seafront area.

Nevertheless, close to the station, La Nogalera, the neighbourhood known for its gay-friendly bars and nightclubs, still has its audience. Many of its venues have concerts and live music which attract all sorts of people.

Near Independencia Square and along Calle San Miguel, there are many English pubs with live music and a British atmosphere that are often very popular with tourists. There are also bars and restaurants with music from the 1980s and 1990s with a more Spanish sound as you approach Costa del Sol Square.

The Playamar and Los Álamos promenade area has become the hotspot for beach clubs, with chill-out areas and terraces overlooking the sea. Most of the venues feature live music and a large range of cocktails, which are the favourite drink among customers at sunset.

There are also refreshment stalls, bars and a quieter atmosphere along La Carihuela Beach, which still retains the essence of an old fishing neighbourhood in its streets and on its terraces.

The sunsets along this part of the coast put on a light show that provides peace, and the famous beach clubs have made the most of them. Torremolinos has some of the main venues in the region such as the Mambo Beach Club in La Carihuela, which is famous for featuring electronic and house music and organising special events throughout the year.

Nearby is the Pura Vida Beach Club, one of the most iconic venues with a more chill-out atmosphere and relaxed music. It features live music performances and a large range of cocktails which you can enjoy while relaxing on a hammock.

In Los Álamos, the Kokun Ocean Club is one of the best known among visitors and locals alike. It usually hosts DJ sessions from 4 p.m., so sunsets along the seafront are very lively on its terrace.

The list of magical places overlooking the Mediterranean is extensive on this part of the coast, including Horno Beach Club, Bananas, Tropicana and Playa Santa, also in Los Álamos, and one of the best clubs since it combines good food, views, cocktails and music to suit every moment of the afternoon and evening.

It could be said that Torremolinos is a city that never sleeps or, rather, that you can dance until dawn thanks to its many nightclubs.

One of the most famous is the internationally renowned Pacha Torremolinos, which is located in the heart of Bajo de la Carihuela. This venue is known for featuring international DJ sets and hosting the best electronic and house parties on the Costa del Sol. Another benchmark on the Costa del Sol is Studio Club, which is located in the same premises as the iconic Palladium, one of the pioneering legendary discotheques in Torremolinos. After its renovation and second christening, Studio Club has become one of the top venues thanks to its atmosphere, the music and the DJs who go every night so that all Torremolinos can feel its vibe.

There are also gay clubs that have become iconic in Torremolinos such as Parthenon. The venue has been around for almost 30 years and is well known for its music, its events and the freedom you can feel inside. Many tourists flock to Torremolinos just to experience a party in this nightclub.
