Description
Join us on an unforgettable small-group catamaran tour through the stunning Ria Formosa Natural Park, with visits to the picturesque Deserta Island and the vibrant Farol Island.
Departing from the Faro Marina, we’ll leisurely navigate the calm waters of the Ria Formosa, winding through its scenic channels and taking in the breathtaking views. As we cruise, you’ll have the chance to spot an array of bird species that call this unique ecosystem home, including Grey Herons and White Storks. For bird enthusiasts, we also offer specialized birdwatching tours in the Algarve.
As we near the islands, the iconic lighthouse of Culatra Island comes into view, a symbol of this area’s rich maritime heritage. On our way, you'll also witness the traditional oyster and clam farms, a testament to the region's thriving local industry.
Our first stop is Farol Island, where you can stroll through this charming island village, soak in its welcoming atmosphere, and enjoy the spectacular white sandy beach stretching from the Santa Maria Cape, the southernmost point of Portugal.
Next, we head to Deserta Island, also known as Barreta Island, a haven for nature lovers. Here, you can explore its unspoiled beauty, walking along peaceful trails or simply relaxing on the pristine beach with crystal-clear waters.
As we journey back to Faro, take in the sights of Ria Formosa — recognized as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Portugal. This tour is the perfect way to experience the Algarve’s unique coastal beauty and diverse wildlife.
Together let's take care of the environment and turn the future into a better destination. For a regenerative tourism.
