A relaxing guided boat trip through the channels of the Ria Formosa visiting 2 different islands: Ilha Deserta and Ilha do Farol. You will be able to observe the nature of the park, feel the comfort on board and enjoy the exclusive landscapes of this ecosystem, which transform the Ria Formosa Natural Park into one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal.
A unique experience over 15 miles of route. The first visit will be on Ilha Deserta, where we will disembark in a wild place with no inhabitants. The wealth of fauna and flora on this island, the dunes and its crystalline waters invite you to visit. It has a very long and wide beach, both on the estuary and on the ocean side. This is where Cape Santa Maria is located, which is the southernmost point of mainland Portugal.
In the second, Ilha do Farol, a small tourist village where the historic lighthouse of Santa Maria, built in 1851, is located. It is a place where we experience unique sensations, with its narrow sandy streets, with typical bars and its small houses colorful and rustic. It has a very beautiful beach with a very extensive sand, however, short at high tide!
On each island, the visit will be free where you will have approx. 45 min. 1 hour in each one of them to enjoy, visit, swim, drink a cocktail on the beach, take pictures and everything you want to do at your leisure. Enjoy!
Oh! And all this accompanied by a local, multilingual, passionate and attentive guide! Here we go?
