Barceló Experiences offers you the opportunity to discover the island of La Gomera in a different way, exploring its landscapes and villages aboard a 4x4 jeep.
The day begins with a ferry departure from southern Tenerife to San Sebastián de La Gomera. From there, the route continues in a caravan of 4x4 vehicles that head inland to explore some of the island’s most distinctive landscapes.
During the journey, you will visit remarkable locations such as Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient laurel forests. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the Silbo Gomero, the island’s traditional whistled language recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The excursion also includes time to enjoy local gastronomy and visit some of La Gomera’s most characteristic villages. At each stop, the drivers will share information about the places visited and about the history of this island, which served as a key stop before Christopher Columbus set sail towards the New World.
