Description

Discover Granada’s history through three of its most significant monuments, closely linked to the legacy of the Catholic Monarchs and the rise of the Renaissance in the city.

The visit begins at the Royal Chapel, where Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon are buried. This symbolic space also houses an important collection of artworks connected to their reign.

You will then enter the Granada Cathedral, one of the major examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture, built on the site of the former mosque and reflecting a key moment in the city’s transformation.

The tour continues at the San Jerónimo Monastery, a historic site associated with the figure of the Great Captain and notable events of the imperial period, rich in architectural and artistic detail.

A route that brings together history, art and heritage, offering a deeper understanding of Granada’s past through its most emblematic landmarks.
