In this we find here various vestiges of the Roman colonization, such as the Roman baths, the Augusta route (the main Roman artery of the peninsula), and of course the magnificent remains of the Roman theater, discovered by pure chance just 30 years ago and constantly in restoration processes.
Panoramic elevator
A panoramic elevator will take us to the highest of the five hills on which Cartagena was built, facing the sea, the place chosen by the Christians to build their main castle on the remains of the Moorish Alcazar. From here you will enjoy magnificent views of the entire city, including its port, considered among the main Mediterranean, due to the protection of the mountains that surround it.
Naval Museum
Carlos III chose this city to become one of the three naval bases of Spain during the 18th century, together with El Ferrol and Cádiz, being a magnificent opportunity to learn about the vast military heritage of the time that is currently being restored. We will visit the submarine Isaac Peral, the world's first submarine.
