Free cancellation if canceled at least 24 hours before the start of the experience.

Description

Discover some of the most distinctive landscapes of Andalusia on this day trip from Seville, exploring the famous White Villages located along what was once the historic frontier between the Christian kingdoms of Castile and the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada.

The journey begins across the Andalusian countryside, a landscape of rolling hills and farmland where you will pass by the Castle of Las Aguzaderas, a medieval fortress that once played a strategic role in controlling this historic border area.

The first stop will be at a traditional olive oil mill, where you will learn about the production process of olive oil, one of the most important products in Andalusian gastronomy and culture. During the visit you will discover how olive oil has been produced for generations and enjoy a tasting of extra virgin olive oil from local producers.

The tour then continues to Zahara de la Sierra, one of the most spectacular white villages in the province of Cádiz. Perched on a hillside overlooking a turquoise reservoir, the village is known for its whitewashed houses, narrow streets and breathtaking views over the surrounding natural landscape.

From here the route heads into the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, an area of exceptional ecological and scenic value. This mountainous region is home to unique species such as the pinsapo, a rare fir tree native to southern Spain, and the payoya goat, whose milk is used to produce the renowned payoyo cheese, one of the gastronomic highlights of the region.

In the village of Grazalema you will have free time for lunch and the opportunity to discover the local cuisine. Your guide will recommend typical dishes and restaurants where you can enjoy regional specialties. You may also take a walk through the charming white streets of the village and admire the mountain views that surround it. On many days it is possible to spot birds of prey such as ravens or golden eagles flying overhead.

The final stop of the day will be the historic city of Ronda. To reach it, you will travel through the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, one of the largest cork oak forests in Spain, where you will learn about the importance of cork trees and the traditional cork industry in the region.

Upon arrival in Ronda, your guide will introduce you to the history of the city and its most important landmarks, including the famous Ronda Bullring, the Alameda del Tajo, the Paseo de los Toreros, and the impressive Puente Nuevo, which spans the dramatic El Tajo gorge.

You will then have free time to explore the city at your own pace, enjoy its viewpoints or wander through its historic streets before beginning the journey back to Seville.
