Discover Granada on a full-day excursion from Seville, a city known for its rich history, distinctive neighbourhoods and vibrant traditions. Located at the foot of the Sierra Nevada, Granada is one of Andalusia’s most remarkable cultural destinations.
After departing from Seville with your guide, you will arrive in a city shaped by centuries of history and cultural exchange. The highlight of the day is the visit to the Alhambra of Granada, the monumental palace and fortress complex that served as the residence of the sultans during the Nasrid Kingdom. Its palaces, courtyards and gardens reflect the artistic refinement of Al-Andalus and have made the Alhambra one of the most admired historical sites in Europe.
During an approximately three-hour guided visit inside the complex, your guide will explain the history, symbolism and architectural details that define this extraordinary monument. As you move through its different spaces, you will discover the decorative richness of its halls, gardens and areas that once formed part of the Nasrid royal court.
After visiting the monument, and if time allows, the excursion continues with a walk through the historic Albaicín district. From the San Nicolás Viewpoint, you will enjoy one of the most iconic views of Granada, with the Alhambra standing against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
Before returning, you will have free time to enjoy lunch in one of the city’s traditional bars or take a short walk through the historic centre. At the end of the day, the group will meet again with the transport for the journey back to Seville after a day exploring one of Andalusia’s most celebrated cultural landmarks.
