    “Amazing Hotel but the Staff Make it”

    Our first visit back to Barceló Fuerteventura since 2015 due to our sons disability, so upgraded to the Royal Level as thought it would be quieter and it was exactly what we needed. Initially there was a issue as they gave us an accessible room as the assumption was my son had mobility issues but his disability is a Hidden one. They offered us another room and the next day we moved. The room we moved to was lovely and very clean. We arrived to a Lovely welcome Fruit Plate, Cuddle toy and Bag for my son. Also you get the mini Bar included but pay when you need a Top Up. Both Laura's are lovely and will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The Pool bar at the Royal Level is great and the staff (Juan) was really out of this world. He understood my sons condition and was so lovely to him, so much so my son wanted a picture of his new friend. We stayed in Room 4107 which overlooked the pool and sea and had a lovely wee balcony. The room service is in everyday and you get beach towels everyday so do not need to take towels with you. Also there is a hairdryer and also Iron in the room. A fully functioning Fridge too. The TV has limited channels but is what you expect from European destination. Also the Wi-Fi is great. The food really is lovely and we never had a bad meal. I would recommend upgrading to the royal level as the restaurant isn't as busy as the Castillo restaurant as that is so noisy for my son to cope with. We Immediately came home and booked again for next year and my son is in countdown mode. See you in 2019 Laura and all the amazing staff at Royal Level. Love the Millers

First of all i would like to say we are delighted that you choose us to spend your holidays in Fuerteventura. We want to say sorry about what happened during you arrival. But finally we found a nice room where everyone was comfortable. I remember the happy face of Charlie when he saw the pool from the room!     “Impressed - and I am hard to please !”

    Just returned for a week on half board at the royal level Castillo Beach. I was very impressed indeed with the whole hotel, its staff, its facilities and its location. I would struggle to fault it. We were in Block 5 which had lovely huge rooms with Jacuzzis on the patio and a view over the beach. Sun shone on it all day. It had every amenity including dining table and kitchenette, fridge and micro wave should you need any of those things. Housekeeping were incredibly efficient and the room was spotless every day - well done whoever sets the standards ! We took meals over in the restaurant by the harbour, El Angla, as it is reserved for royal level guests and was considerably less crowded than the main restaurants. Every meal was superb. The staff were absolutely delightful and the fresh meats and fish cooked on the grill were yummy. Everything was fresh and well presented. The view over the harbour was lovely especially as the sun set in the evenings. We visited the Thalasso Spa one day as you get a free visit as part of your welcome packet. I could have gone back every day. The water circuit is amazing especially the cold then hot water therapies. Again everything was clean and efficient. I strongly recommend a visit. We took a car out for the day and visited the rest of the island which is definitely worth doing as it really is a dramatic place especially the highest point and the village of Betancuria although the drive is a little like the end scene of the Italian Job. We also took the catamaran trip which was lovely. It is maybe a little expensive but I thought it was worth it with free drinks and food included. It was certainly worth it for a spin as a passenger on their high speed Jetski. The driver (who I am sure was related to Fernando Alonso) went pretty fast and jumped some huge waves but I always felt he was in control. I wont forget that for a while. It was a bit rough especially on the return journey so sea sickness pills are a must if you get sea sick. The surrounding area has great shops and restaurants. La Frasquita is on the other side of the bay. An unassuming little shack but you soon realise all the locals are eating here because its fantastic. Beautiful freshly caught fish. Dont miss out. Its worht a short queue I promise. There are other tapas bars and plenty of night life if you want it. We did a might at pieros which had fun entertainment - but the west end it was not ! Back to the hotel - The pool areas were well kept and clean. A special mention to the entertainment team who kept the level just right of trying to encourage you to take part but respecting if you didnt want to. The foam party in the kids pool was just fab. I had such a laugh ! We stayed by the main pools which are not heated and more crowded but as a result had more atmosphere. If you wanted peace and quiet then we did spend a couple of later afternoons at the royal level pool which was much quieter and heated. Both had pros and cons and I cannot fault either place and it depends what you want. We needed maintenance a couple of times to fix things (the jacuzzi for example) and it was done quickly and without fuss. We needed extra towels and they were delivered, quickly and without a fuss. I really cannot fault the hotel or the staff and will definitely be returning as it really is the most perfect place for a short stay. Well done everyone at the Barcelo Castillo Beach. Make sure all your staff see this as whilst everyone is not customer facing they all contribute to the overall ambience and professional relaxing atmosphere. Cant wait to see you again. Soon !!

    “Perfect ambience in every way”

    We had 6 days as a mini break as a 2nd break we had all been away seperately wanting a bit of luxury and we got it! Me, 20yr old daughter and 15yr old son. Especially as we got upgraded to Royal Level. This is a big complex but easy to get around. I loved a brisk after dinner walk around the coast side near the rocks. Food was wonderful. Absolutely massive choice , anyone who says there wasnt must be mad! All inc drinks were all day til 11pm and daughter and I were more than happy with the local spirits and local wines. Royal Level was a bit of heaven and so chilled but as my son was with us we chose the busier pool , but again it was tranquil looking and entertainment was there if you wanted it but easy to avoid if you wanted peace. Animacion worked tirelessly and always did a show at 9.30pm . Along the front port area is very pretty and there were 2 famcy restaurants where you could book and pay we didnt as all inc and only mini break. Had we done 2 weeks I would have tried them they looked lovely. The whole complex really was beautiful and we loved the beach bay attached it was so perfect you could forget the world! We had no problems with taking our all inc drinks down to the beach - you do pay on beach for sunbeds but we had no issue with that. We are re booking for 2 weeks next year it really was the perfect mix!

    “Очень грязно”

    Мы отдыхали в этом отеле в конце января три дня. Забронировали через официальный сайт, после крайне положительного опыта в другом отеле сети Barcelo'. Впечатления остались скорее отрицательные, не все было так плохо, но не возвращаться , не советовать этот отель не станем. Сама структура расположена просто идеально, на территории или рядом есть все что нужно: рестораны, бары, парковка, супермаркет. Мы ходили на ужины и завтраки только в ресторан Al Anca', так как там нам очень понравилось, хотя был на выбор и другой ресторан. В Al Anca'за три дня ни разу не повторялись блюда, все было свежее и вкусное, персонал замечательный, интерьер интересный, а живая музыка была просто отличным дополнением ко всему этому. Подогреваемый бассейн, был не очень крупным, но и не совсем маленьким, как казалось по фото, проблем с лежаками не возникало. Сам номер был большим, но не комфортным и желания проводить там много время не было, в том числе потому что было уж очень грязно. Когда мы только заехали, думали, что номер не был полностью готов , там не было тапочек, пол был усеян волосами и пылью, кухня и стол покрыты крошками и жирными пятнами, сантехника в ванной была в подозрительных пятнах, а вход в номер перекрывала тележка горничной с весьма внушительной горой мусора сверху. Через пол часа после звонка на ресепшен тапочки нам принесли, мы обратили внимание девушки из персонала на все безобразие, что происходило в номере и попросили убраться нормально на следующий день, так как было уже поздно. Как стало ясно далее, на улучшение ситуации расчитывать не стоило. В первый день они собрали волосы, крошки и оттерли некоторые пятна, но замусоленные стены, жирная кухня, грязные углы и наигрязнейшая терраса никуда не делись. Впрочем как и тележка горничной, припаркованная у нашей двери. На третий день нам только сменили полотенца и забрали мусор, да и то, после нашего звонка на ресепшен, хотя уходя из номера утром, мы встретили горничную у соседнего номера, сообщили, что уходим, повесили табличку с просьбой убрать номер, но до вечера она до нас так и не добралась. В общем, покупка чистящих средств в супермаркете по соседству позволила перетерпеть эти три дня даже с комфортом, так как нижайший уровень уборки(или его отсутствие) были единственным явным минусом, но большим. Хотя мало кому захочется развлекаться с тряпкой и дезинфицирующими средствами в отпуске, в отеле со словами Royal Level в названии. Для меня это первый такой опыт и, надеюсь, его не придется повторить,но если вы совсем не брезгливы , не планируете активно пользоваться номером и боитесь заскучать без Domestos , то можете смело сюда ехать, так как в остальном место красивое, комфортное с отличным рестораном. А менеджерам, которые рассылают письма в ответ на анкету "что вам понравилось или не понравилось в нашем отеле" , не обвинять в наличии стеснительности, что не позволила обратиться на ресепшен за уборкой и стала причиной ее отсутствия, а занятся этой самой уборкой , чтобы этого не пришлось делать клиентам!

    “В этом отеле брать - только Royal Level”

    Royal Level - это премиум левел отеля Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort. Тоесть, есть вариант Обычный и Премиум. Никому не советую брать Обычный вариант отдыха в этом отеле. Грязно, неуютно, людно. Не смотря на все это, этот отель - один из лучших на этом пляже

    “В этом отеле брать - только Royal Level”


    Royal Level - это премиум левел отеля Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort. Тоесть, есть вариант Обычный и Премиум. Никому не советую брать Обычный вариант отдыха в этом отеле. Грязно, неуютно, людно. Не смотря на все это, этот отель - один из лучших на этом пляже
