    “Nice Place To Stay!”

    Only spent one night there, but it's clean, quiet & close to a lot of things. The breakfast that's included with the room is fine, nothing fancy, but it does the trick. The staff are friendly & helpful.

    “Rude staff, poor service, amenities lacking”

    We stayed here two nights in a standard double room. Although the online listing noted that a minibar and safe were in the room, the mini-refrigerator was there (with a mini-bar order list) but it was empty. Likewise, there was a safe, but it was not usable. No alarm clock. Phone did not work (after we reported it, it took more than a day to repair). We asked about tapas and were told that they started serving in the bar at 8:00, so we came back around 8:00; others were drinking and being offered complementary tapas; we ordered a couple of mixed drinks and were offered tapas, but when they didn't arrive, we were told that for some unexplained reason, they only come with beer or wine (go figure?!) - and we were told that we couldn't even order some and pay for them - told there was no food for us (the restaurant was busy with the large buffet). The bartender was rude, and ended up bringing us beer nuts with gummy bears! The breakfast is large (and expensive 18 Euros per person), but really needs "sneeze screens" - I saw several children playing with the food and sneezing all over one section. The hotel is located in a rather dismal area, a ways from reasonable eating options and shopping.

You could have asked our barman for all the tapas you wanted and, without a doubt, he would be happy to serve them. We also want to inform you that in the safe you have an informative form about its use. But if you have any doubt, you can consult it with reception. On our alarm clock, we want to inform you that we do not have a physical alarm, but we have an alarm system in our reception indicating the number of your room. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the imperfections you describe in your review, all rooms reserved for new arrivals are per standard double checked by our head of housekeeping to ensure that everything is functional and spotless for our guests, clearly we were not performing to our usual standard on this occasion. For a future occasion, please do not hesitate to contact the reception desk for anything to find an immediate solution for you. In reception we have all the information you need about all the services of our hotel. Both in the restaurant and on our official website we have the public prices of our services where the buffet breakfast costs € 10, we regret the confusion about the price.     “Comfortable hotel in a good location”

    My wife and I chose this as it was a reasonable price during the Easter week. Many hotels were really quite expensive during this period. The location is good, being about 10-15 mins walk to main shopping area with Plaza Nueva a couple of minutes beyond. From Granada airport there is the usual taxi, or option to have a private car if arranged beforehand to get you to the town centre. Neither of these are that cheap given the fairly short distance involved. We opted for the Alsa bus, which collects from the side of the airport and for €3 per person is by far the best way to transfer. Nice coaches and a pleasant way to see the surrounding area. Look on the website for stops on the route. Point to note here is that the coach can get full and some people may get concerned they will not get a seat on the return, but there was another coach right behind to collect further passengers. For this hotel we chose the last stop and it was a 10-12 min walk. It would be quicker but for the uneven pavement types with cobbles etc to pull cases along. Check in was good, the lady on reception was friendly. However she did not remind us of how to access the Internet (which is free) prior to leaving the reception desk, nor inform us that we need to ask for a key to the inroom safe deposit box, which required handing over €20 cash deposit. So a return to the reception finally had this sorted. The rooms are a good size and have all the amenities except tea and coffee making. On return from a day/evg out it is possible to get a coffee from the bar to the side of the entrance for €1.50 to take to the room. The buffet breakfast has a good choice, but just expect that at busy times, such as when we were there, the food does need replenishing at times. The lifts are not that speedy so if only a couple of floors up, then walk unless you have cases to move. Staff generally not bad, but one checking out, I had ensured I was early and got print out to show that bill was sorted, and took the safe key down later as we left. The lady then took the key but had no idea what to do and waited for someone else to see to me when I did not need them to really. Cannot allow for all eventualities it seems. A good place to stay which is not too far from sights. We were not made aware of a metro (€1.70 a journey) which at the end of the streets which will take you to a massive out of town shopping mall (Shopping Nueva), with all the big brand shops and a good selection of reasonable eateries which are in a separate area. One point to note is that Alhambra is within walking distance but not for anyone with mobility issues. It is 15 mins to the turn off just by Plaza Nueva with Gran Taberna on that corner, and then it is a very steep uphill trek for another 15-20mins to the garden ticket office. The walk down of course much easier.

    “Бедные завтраки и грязные номера”

    К сожалению, несмотря на удачное расположение на хорошей оживленной улице с кафе и магазинами в центре города, рядом с достопримечательностями, отель поразил отвратительным состоянием номеров: подслеповатый темный номер с очень слабыми лампочками и грязные полы! под кроватью вообще не убирали месяцами, такое впечатление. Кругом на полу волосы и грязь, метут полы только по центру комнаты! Приятное впечатление от общения с персоналом на ресепшн испортили невкусные и скудные завтраки в огромном неуютном зале ресторана. Завтраки брать не советую. Номера просторные, как и ванная комната.

    “Старый отель с плохой уборкой”

    Отель в центре, в хорошем районе Сан-Антон (название по улице магазинов и кафе), пешком до самого туристического района за 15 минут неспешной и приятной прогулки. До Альгамбры брали такси от отеля за 8 евро (пешком далеко). Выбирали из-за наличия парковки (своя подземная, но очень узкий въезд, для маленьких авто). Не понравилось: в номерах отвратительная уборка, в каждом углу и укромном месте - клубы пыли и грязь (см фото)! В номерах очень темно, освещения - слабые прикроватные светильники. Плохой завтрак, просто стыдно для отеля 4 звезды - порошковый сок, отвратительный кофе из автоматов Нескафе, скудный выбор, вернее, его отсутствие. Отель обслуживает большие автобусные группы, приезжающие на день. И питание подстроено под эти дешевые туры.
