Barceló Hotel Group’s concept of health and safety.
Reduced room capacity in common and leisure areas (subject to the recommendations from the health authorities at all times). Unnecessary decorative elements (mainly stationery) will be removed from the rooms. Protective equipment for the hotel staff, washing of bed and bathroom linens at temperatures higher than 60ºC.
The breakfast will maintain its normal buffet format, but will be assisted by the kitchen and restaurant staff. Pathways have been established to separate people by direction and multiple hand sanitation points have been installed to guarantee maximum safety. Young children are not permitted to access the buffet.
Our specialists have indicated that the safest method is frequent disinfecting with hydroalcoholic gel, which is compulsory for anyone serving food from our buffet or coming in contact with any frequently visited area. Nonetheless, we will continue providing polyethylene gloves at each of the hand sanitising stations for those guests who wish to use them, as well as rubbish bins to dispose of them.
The bars and restaurants maintain their usual service and offerings. The table distributions in each of the areas have been adapted to meet the 1.5 metre distancing requirement and capacities are reduced to 75%, as per current regulations.
The minibar service is temporarily suspended. It can be hired and filled upon request through the hotel’s app. Room service will be available from 11.00 to 23.00, with breakfast in the room being temporary suspended, as well as the 24-hour menu.
The use of masks is determined by the health authorities at all times. Currently, mask usage is compulsory in outdoor spaces and any closed space, if it is not possible to maintain a safe distance of at least 1.5 metres. Guests must bring their own masks. If you forget or lose yours, we have different types of masks available at reception.
There will not be any scheduling restrictions or shifts for its use, but the in-water capacity has been reduced to 9 people, who are recommended to not swim longer than 15 minutes. Opening hours are from 11.00 to 20.00. A minimum space of at least 1.5 metres shall be left between groups of sun loungers. The area will be monitored by video to provide a thorough monitoring of compliance with regulations.
The U-Wellness centre will not be available until the month of September. In addition, no massage or treatment services will be available.
The fitness studio is available 24 hours a day, but a prior reservation is required, which can be made at reception or directly via the app. The prior booking must be respected to ensure the complete sterilising of the equipment before and after each use. There is also a station with disinfectant products available to users. Towel use is compulsory.
The hotel’s restaurants and bars serve a variety of local and international dishes created to satisfy the palate of every guest.
