An evolving legacy
After ten editions since its launch in 2018, the Inspirational Chef Program evolved into Inspirational Chef Stories, ushering in a new chapter in which each edition revolves around a theme rooted in a different island or region of the Canary archipelago.
The program has featured renowned chefs such as Joan Roca, Massimo Bottura, Ana Roš, the Torres Brothers, Tim Boury, Sebastián Frank, Diego Guerrero, Álvaro Salazar, and Jorge Muñoz, creating its own distinctive legacy in haute cuisine within international hospitality.

The Inspirational Chef Program began its journey in 2018 with Jorge Muñoz and, now reimagined as Inspirational Chef Stories, welcomes Adrià in an edition that connects Barcelona, Tenerife, and the evolution of contemporary cuisine.
Edition X: Joan Roca | May 2024
In its tenth edition, the Inspirational Chef Program by Corales, Royal Hideaway Hotel & Villas hosted exclusive dinners by one of the world's finest restaurants, El Celler de Can Roca (Girona).
The kitchen team, led by Joan Roca, offered two unforgettable dinners alongside the Canarian chefs Juan Carlos and Jonathan Padrón at El Rincón de Juan Carlos.
Edition IX: Álvaro Salazar | Nov 2022
In November 2022, a one-of-a-kind culinary event brought together the Padrón Brothers and Álvaro Salazar, the chef of VORO in Mallorca, which earned two MICHELIN Stars in the MICHELIN Guide Spain & Portugal 2023.
For the occasion, chef Álvaro Salazar brought his culinary vision to a six-hands dining experience defined by flavor, balance, and the finest local and international ingredients, hallmarks of the renowned Tenerife restaurant.
Edition VIII: Massimo Bottura | June 2022
In 2022, we had the honor of welcoming Italian chef Massimo Bottura to Il Bocconcino, where he showcased his culinary expertise during two four-hands dinners alongside resident Italian chef Niki Pavanelli.
His restaurant, Osteria Francescana, is one of the world's most influential culinary destinations, holding 3 Michelin stars since 2012 and ranking No. 1 on the "World's 50 Best Restaurants" list in both 2016 and 2018.
Edition VII: Torres Brothers | Oct 2021
For this edition, we welcomed chefs Sergio and Javier Torres, better known as the Torres Brothers, whose restaurant Cocina Hermanos Torres in Barcelona has earned three MICHELIN Stars and three Repsol Suns.
The Torres Brothers joined forces with the Padrón Brothers of El Rincón de Juan Carlos to create a menu built around their deep understanding of the finest local ingredients and producers.
Edition VI: Ana Rôs | April 2021
For its sixth edition, the program welcomed Slovenian chef Ana Roš of Hiša Franko, holder of two MICHELIN Stars, ranked No. 21 on The World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2020, and named The World's Best Female Chef in 2017 by The World's 50 Best Restaurants.
Edition V: Diego Guerrero | March 2020
We had the privilege of welcoming Diego Guerrero, a leading figure in contemporary Spanish cuisine, from Madrid's DSTAgE Concept restaurant, holder of two MICHELIN Stars and three Repsol Suns.
Edition IV: Sebastián Frank | November 2019
The fourth edition was led by Austrian chef Sebastian Frank, prominent figure in modern Germanic cuisine, whose restaurant Horváth in Berlin holds two MICHELIN Stars.
Edition III: John Gregory Smith | September 2019
For its third edition, the program welcomed John Gregory-Smith, a leading voice in the UK's food and culinary landscape and the author of several books on Middle Eastern and North African cuisine.
Edition II: Tim Boury | March 2019
In March 2019, Belgian chef Tim Boury of Restaurant Boury (Roeselare, Belgium), holder of three MICHELIN Stars, showcased innovative haute cuisine creations rooted in locally sourced ingredients.
Edition I: Jorge Muñoz | August 2018
In our first edition, we had the renowned Peruvian chef Jorge Muñoz (currently chef of Astrid&Gastón), who was at the helm of Albert Adriá's Pakta restaurant, the only Nikkei restaurant with a Michelin star in Spain.
