    “Value for money”

    Stayed with family and kids (6 and 8). Overall it is good hotel. Quite big, but nice to walk around all flowers and trees. It is on the hill, so more wind. But close to shops and ocean. The food was not something special, but there was always something to eat and i would say food was good. Drinks also. (Gordons, Balantines, Aperol and etc) There are three pools, one of them is heated, but i would say all quite nice and warm. Rooms are large and clean also amazing with sea view. (block 8). Entertainment for kids and night shows could be better, but it was nice as well. There is always place to part car on street for free. All to all, i would recommend it

    “The worst hotel”

    This is an inclusive hotel advertised for families and offered by Thomas Cook and TUI to name a few of the British Tour Operators. The hotel rooms have extremely dated decor and are unsafe...locks don’t work and balconies have wooden panels that are loose and would not prevent a child from falling to their deaths / significant injury. The all inclusive buffet is dreadful, food is cold, sloppy and recycled from breakfast to lunch then to dinner. The staff and management are rude, unwilling to listen to customers and appear demotivated and disinterested. The hotel has many older guests from Germany who constantly complain about small children making noise and splashing in the swimming pool(s). This is the worst hotel on the island...it requires a significant overhaul.

    “Hotel ok, location really good”

    Stayed here for a week in March / April - 2 adults and 2 x 2 years olds. We had a family interconnecting room. Firstly the location was great. The beaches by the hotel really are superb, and they stretched literally for miles! A nice walk to the nearby restaurants and shops too. The hotel was ok but we wouldn't stay at this hotel again - we will definitely return to Jandia though. The interconnecting room was a bit of a worry as we couldn't lock the door from the inside to stop our toddlers opening the doors and walking out of the rooms so we had to put heavy tables in front of the doors. We haven't had this issue at other hotels like this before. Our room lost power 4 times and the water temperature and pressure was very temperamental. We had a slow dripping leak from the ceiling too. The pools were a bit chilly, but the large shallow pool was brilliant for the toddlers to play in - they had the best time. The food was so so. The main restaurant wasn't very big for the size of the hotel and it was often difficult finding a table large enough for the 4 of us. The staff weren't very helpful helping us find a suitable table as they were pretty busy. We ate out in the local restaurants most of the nights, and had some delicious seafood. The bars within the hotel had a good selection of drinks and the snack bar was nice too. I'm not too sure about the cleaning in the hotel rooms! Glasses were not removed from the rooms the whole time we stayed there. It took us a while to find our way around the resort as the maps were not clear which routes were suitable for prams, so finding our way from the room to reception with a pram really wasn't fun. The hotel is on a slope so I wouldn't think it would be ideal for people using wheelchairs either. To conclude, we loved Jandia, but not the hotel.

    “Summer experience in Spring”

    We, the group of friends, spent a nice, unforgetable week in this hotel: Swimming in the ocean before breakfast, good quality and variety of food ( AI), nice rooms, especially in Block 9, with ocean view.... Good drinks, lot of space at the pools or near the ocean. Animation in the evening 8.30 p.m. for children, 9.30 p.m. for adults every evening. Nothing to complain about. Value for money in the 4 stars hotel.

    “Its ok”

    This was fine for a week away in the sun. Nothing special. I would nit have it as my main holiday , because it would be disappointing but its fine for a week in the sun. The pool is freezing at that time of year.
