    “Relaxing long weekend with friends and family...”

    Booked this for my hen do, I only wanted a quiet, relaxing gathering and this hotel was perfect for it. Very comfortable, great food (quality & choice), great activities around the pool during the day, no problems getting sun loungers (even for 8 of us), evening entertainment every night, ideally situated near the gorgeous beach and superb weather. It was worth the hour transfer from the airport. I will be returning in the future :)

    “Great Food, rubbish entertainment ”

    The room is excellent except the air conditioning, struggled with it and it wasn’t very good. All the food was excellent, good choices and plenty. The bar, well it was rubbish, they mainly display the make makes like Baileys but give you the cheap makes to drink, the other ones cost. In the theatre, there can be almost 200 + in there but there is only 1 barman, 2 weeks, same every night and I was told by the barman, is normal. Downstairs has far less people and always had 2 bar staff. It can take 30 minutes to get served. The entertainment in that room is also really poor, the same 3 people becoming a different band each time, Queen, Bryan Adams then U2. Really poor singing. There were 2 guys with a guitar singing songs downstairs, much much better and good to listen too. Pool and getting sun-beds was excellent. Well tended grounds. Reception was really bad to talk too, mainly because it took ages to get to them, then they let other guests skip in.

We sincerely regret reading your disappointment with our entertainment program mostly because our team strives to provide our guests with a varied assortment of activities throughout the day and live shows in the evening, nevertheless we will make sure to discuss your comments with the head of entertainment for information and improvement.     “Good hotel apart from the waitress Sandra from the pool bar”

    Last day herewith. Good hotel with beautiful gardens. Food and drink very much like other all inclusiveseno worse no better. Plenty of sun beds and big pools. The only negative things about the hotel are that the beer is very weak and the waitress Sandra from the pool bar. All the staff are nice with the exception of her, she is in the wrong job, management please put her in the kitchen away from the guests. Her attitude and the way she is with guests gives a negative view of the hotel. Never smiles and bangs your drinks down with a look that could kill. Its obvious that she is not happy in her job which gives a negative vibe to the guests. I dreaded getting served by her as her attitude put a downer on the holiday. This is not just my opinion many other guests share my point of view regarding her. We had already made a reservation to return here in January before we came here, however because of the way that Sandra is we will change our reservation with the holiday company and go elsewhere. Its surprising the affect that one employees attitude can have on the hotel. Please change her job.

    “great time”

    We could spend great time at this hotel, eat delicious food, drink good alcohols. Hotel is big and it is a pleasure to go around because the garden is fantastic. The swimming polls are great! The view from the hotel is beautiful. We will come back to Occidental.

    “Lovely hotel”

    You have to love what you get here for the price you pay, treated incredibly well and with just 5 minutes to walk to the beach and shops 3 minutes away you can never complain. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to furtaventura, perhaps the only negative is all the activities like the zoo etc are a little far away but you have regular transport to all the activities from the companies from what I have seen.
