Get ready fora magical night in the south of Boa Vista, where under a starry sky you will experience an unforgettable moment: seeing a Caretta Caretta turtle, an endangered species, nesting on the beach. Caretta Caretta turtles, also known as loggerheads, are true ocean travelers, traveling thousands of kilometers to return to the place where they were born. Witnessing their nesting ritual is much more than a natural spectacle: it's a powerful reminder of the deep connection between all forms of life.
The experience begins with pickup from your hotel and a short transfer to Paqueiro Grande, one of the main nesting beaches in the south of the island. Along the way, a guide will tell you interesting facts about these turtles, their life cycle and how they work to conserve them. Once at the beach, and always with respect and following strict rules, the real magic begins and you can watch the turtle come out of the sea, prepare its nest and lay its eggs in the sand.
