What should you know before you go?
- Minimum driving age: 16 years.
- Valid driving license is required.
- Roads in Boa Vista can be sandy, rocky, and dusty, be prepared for unpaved sections.
- Bring a bandana or face covering to protect from dust.
- Only two petrol stations on the island (both in Sal Rei), plan fuel accordingly.
- Always wear a helmet.
- At the time of rental must leave € 100 of security deposit, which will be returned at the end of the rental if there is no damage caused by the driver.
