Description
Departing from Marrakech, this experience takes you through contrasting landscapes where the stone desert and the peaks of the High Atlas shape the scenery.
The route first reaches the Agafay Desert, a wide and arid setting that offers a different perspective of Morocco’s terrain. Here, you will enjoy a camel ride, allowing you to move at a slower pace while taking in the openness of the surroundings.
During the day, there is also a stop at a local women-run cooperative, where traditional craft processes are presented along with their role within the community.
The journey continues towards the High Atlas Mountains, where the landscape gradually shifts to more elevated and rural areas. Lunch is served in Agafay, providing time to rest and enjoy the setting in a relaxed way.
