Description

Set in the heart of the medina of Marrakech, this workshop offers a calm and creative way to connect with local craftsmanship through embroidery.

The session begins with an introduction to materials and the art of Arabic calligraphy, guided by experienced artisans. You will choose a word, name or meaningful date to embroider onto a traditional Moroccan basket, selecting colours and style according to your preference.

As you work, you will learn basic embroidery techniques and develop your design step by step, with continuous guidance throughout the process. The pace allows you to focus both on learning and enjoying the creative experience.

A short break is included to enjoy mint tea and Moroccan pastries in a relaxed setting before completing your piece and receiving a few additional handcrafted details.

The result is a personalised creation made by your own hands, combining tradition, design and personal meaning in a single object.
