Description
The Agafay Desert, located just outside Marrakech, presents a striking rocky landscape shaped by wide-open views and shifting light throughout the day. This full-day experience combines different ways of exploring the area, offering both cultural elements and outdoor activities.
After hotel pick-up, you will head towards the desert, where a local team welcomes you and introduces the schedule for the day. The first activity is a camel ride lasting around one and a half hours. A traditional cheich is provided, offering practical protection from the sun while reflecting local customs.
Following the ride, there is a break to enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch served under a Berber tent. The menu typically features local dishes such as tagine or couscous, with a vegetarian option available on request.
In the afternoon, the pace shifts as you set out on a buggy tour of approximately two hours. These off-road vehicles allow you to cover a wider area, navigating tracks and natural formations that reveal a more rugged side of the desert.
By combining slower moments with more dynamic exploration, the experience offers a varied way to discover Agafay’s landscape and atmosphere.
