About 45 minutes from Marrakech, the Agafay Desert unfolds as a wide, stony landscape where driving becomes the most direct way to explore its terrain. Its natural tracks and rolling hills create an ideal setting for a full-day buggy experience.
After the transfer to the base camp, a short briefing introduces the route and safety guidelines before setting off. Equipped for the activity, you will begin a buggy ride designed to suit different levels, allowing for a steady and controlled progression across the desert.
The route crosses dry wadis, rocky paths and small inhabited areas, gradually moving towards the foothills of the High Atlas. On clear days, the mountains appear on the horizon, adding depth and contrast to the landscape.
Midway through the experience, there is a break for a Moroccan lunch served under a tent in a local setting. This pause offers time to rest while enjoying traditional dishes surrounded by open views.
Back on the buggy, the second part of the route feels different, as familiarity with the terrain and vehicle allows for a more confident and fluid ride.
