Located around 45 minutes from Marrakech, the Agafay Desert offers a wide, open terrain shaped by rocky hills and natural tracks, with frequent views of the High Atlas in the distance. Its layout makes it particularly suitable for exploring on a more active, self-driven route.
After the transfer to the starting point, a briefing introduces the basics of handling and safety. Each participant is assigned their own quad bike, allowing for an individual riding experience and a closer connection with the surroundings.
Over approximately four and a half hours, the route follows a variety of paths, including stony sections, open trails and broader areas where the landscape stretches out in every direction. Along the way, you may pass small local settlements that form part of Agafay’s environment.
Midway through the day, there is a توقف for a Moroccan lunch served under a tent with views over the desert. This break offers time to rest and take in the setting at a slower pace.
Led by guides trained in first aid, the activity is conducted with a strong focus on safety while adapting to the rhythm of the group.
As the route continues, the contrast between the sound of the engine and the stillness of the desert enhances the sense of movement across the landscape.
