Description
Visit Ronda, one of Andalusia’s most striking historic towns, dramatically set above a deep gorge in the mountains of Málaga province. During the journey from the Costa del Sol, your accompanying guide will share information about the surrounding landscapes and villages that form part of this scenic route through the Serranía de Ronda.
Once in the city, you will join a guided walk led by a local guide to visit some of Ronda’s most emblematic landmarks. Among them is the historic Ronda Bullring, regarded as one of the oldest and most important in Spain. Built in the eighteenth century, it remains closely linked to the city’s cultural heritage and Andalusian traditions.
The route continues towards the impressive New Bridge, an architectural landmark spanning the dramatic El Tajo gorge and connecting the old and new quarters of the city. From its viewpoints, wide panoramas open across the surrounding mountains and natural landscapes.
After the guided visit, you will have free time to stroll along cobbled streets, stop at scenic viewpoints or relax in traditional cafés and terraces around the historic centre. The peaceful rhythm of Ronda, together with the vast scenery surrounding the town, creates a distinctive atmosphere throughout the visit.
Whitewashed façades, historic balconies and sweeping mountain views accompany the return journey, leaving behind the calm and timeless character that defines one of Andalusia’s most memorable destinations.
