Description
Travel from Malaga and the Costa del Sol to two of the most charming destinations on Andalusia’s eastern coastline. This full-day visit takes you through Nerja and Frigiliana, two towns admired for their Mediterranean scenery, traditional streets and authentic Andalusian atmosphere.
During the journey, your accompanying guide will share information about the surrounding villages and natural landscapes as the route follows the coastline and the hills of the Axarquía region. Once in Nerja, you will enjoy a guided walk through the town centre leading to the famous Balcony of Europe, a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
You will then have free time to stroll through the shopping streets, relax by the seafront or sample local cuisine in one of the town’s restaurants or terraces. Visitors may also choose the option including entry to the renowned Nerja Caves, known for their enormous chambers and archaeological significance.
The route later continues to Frigiliana, widely regarded as one of Andalusia’s most beautiful white villages. Whitewashed houses, cobbled lanes and flower-filled corners preserve the Moorish heritage that still shapes much of the town’s identity today.
The peaceful atmosphere of Frigiliana, together with the contrast between mountains and sea and the warm light of the Costa del Sol, creates a memorable setting that stays with you long after the journey back.
