Description

Spend a full day in Cordoba, one of Andalusia’s most historically significant cities, travelling from Marbella and Estepona alongside an accompanying guide. During the journey, you will pass through inland Andalusian landscapes while learning more about the traditions and cultural heritage of southern Spain.

Once in the city, the visit begins near the Calahorra Tower, located beside the Guadalquivir River. From there, you will cross the historic Roman Bridge, an ancient structure that for centuries served as one of the main entrances to Cordoba.

The route continues through the Historic Centre of Cordoba, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Narrow streets, flower-filled patios and traditional squares preserve the atmosphere of a city shaped by Muslim, Jewish and Christian influences over the centuries.

As you walk through the Jewish Quarter, you will reach the remarkable Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba, one of Spain’s most admired monuments. Inside awaits its famous forest of columns and red-and-white arches, together with architectural elements reflecting both Islamic and Christian art.

After the guided visit, you will have free time to wander around the city at your own pace, taste local cuisine or browse traditional Cordoban crafts. The scent of the patios, the warm tones of the historic buildings and the relaxed atmosphere of the old town create lasting memories long after the return journey.
