    “Trouble in Paradise”

    Another comment, the other day they served turkey at your carving station. The turkey was raw. Pink inside and dangerous to eT. It must be cooked thoroughly or you are going to have a lot of sick people at your hotel. Most of the food especially breakfast, is boring and not enough variety

    “Vacation”

    Check-in was very easy and fast. Rooms were ready and our suitcases were brought up to our rooms very quickly. Rooms are nice and renovated. Beds were a little hard but good if you like a hard bed, updated bathrooms with very nice rain shower heads. Restaurants were all good. Ate at the Italian twice, very good food and very good servi ce. Did not try the Mexican. Great location with very nice beach sandy beach area. Only one bar (pool bar) so takes some time to get a drink. Very slow drink service around pool and almost not existent in beach area. Bring a large glass and just use your own. The plastic glasses they server drinks in are very small. They don't have an issue with serving drinks in your own lager glass. Very disappointed in the beach area. Almost impossible to get chairs at the beach. The staff tells you that people get up at 5am and put their towls or shirt/stuff on the charis to save them. NOT TRUE. THE GUYS AROUND THE BEACH GET PAID OFF TO SAVE CHAIRS FOR PEOPLE AND TELL OTHERS THAT GUEST GOT UP AND SAVED THEM ON THEIR OWN. NOT TRUE!!!! If the management is not in on the scam than this is an example of the worst management ever. We paid $5,800 to stay here for a week. I dont mind if guest actually got up an saved chairs on their own but when workers do it for them for a fee they pocket and lie to you, that is not acceptable. I did get up at 5am to find all, not some but ALL chairs taken already and see hotel beach staff putting towels on chairs. For this reason only, I would never come back to this resort ever again. Very disappointed.

At Barceló we know that meals are an important aspect of our guests' overall holiday experience in our hotels, this is why our team of Chefs prepare for each service a wide variety of delicacies to cater for all diet requirements and please the most demanding palates, we are therefore very pleased that we could satisfy yours. Moreover, we have taken good note of your remark on the queues at times in our bar and regret reading your dissatisfaction, our barmen shifts are studied to ensure an impeccable service throughout the day and are reinforced during peak hours, nevertheless we commit to improve on this aspect of our services so as to avoid receiving this kind of feedback in the future. We regret reading that apparently we failed to ensure that our hotel policy, forbidding the reservation of palapas, was respected during your visit. Your mentioning of this in your review did not go unnoticed, we will be enforcing the communication reminding guests and employees that reservation of palapas without immediate use is forbidden in our hotel. We sincerely lament reading that your stay was not as pleasant as it should have been and we would be very pleased to welcome you again in the future ensuring you in advance of our utmost commitment to make your next Barceló holiday experience an unforgettable one for all the right reasons.     “Weekend trip”

    Location: palm beach strip, 2 hotels away from Riu.Beach: clean, lots of water sport activities offered, some sea weed.Pool: not enough pool chairs. Feel like I'm on a cruise, you have to wake up early to reserve a pool side chair. Despite the rules posted about reserving seats, no one is there to enforce the rule. Entertainment: PoorFood: Very salty, but good. Room: State room very spacious and very clean. Staff: Friendly and respectful

    Customer service suggestion: Ask your First club members what type of liquors they would like to have in their room. Room had light rum, whiskey bourbon and vodka. None of which were acceptable to the quest.

    “BARCELO ARUBA”

    Location was fabulous. Food mediocre. Not for foodies or gourmandies. Service at times poor. Not attentive w drink refills or coffee refills at breakfast. Do not book base deluxe rooms as they face parking lots and metal storage containers when looking straight ahead outyour balcony. Make sure to get anything w pool or ocean view or the garden. rooms. Best service food at Mexico Lindo and Kiyoto restaurants. Food & Beverage mgr Lino went above and beyond to acquire Non Alcoholic beer for spouse. Exceptional service provide by waiters Simeon, Rodell and Hosts Juan and Dale.
