    “Amazing Barcelo”

    My husband and I went for my 40th birthday and we had a great experience. The resort is not over-overwhelmingly large which is perfect and you couldn't get lost in it. The beach was clean and pristine. Granted you had to get up super early to reserve palapas and chairs but I'm an early bird and it was no big deal. The royal level was above and beyond amazing. We ate at the Italian, Japanese and Royal level restaurant which were all very good. We were misinformed at the Japanese restaurant when we were told we could still order hibachi even if we sat at a table but when we got there the servers refused. So, we had to order something completely different than what we were anticipating. Other than that the bar service at the lobby, pool bar and beach bar were fantastic. We definitely enjoyed ourselves and are already planning on returning in the near future.

    “Another great vacation at the BarceloAruba”

    Beautiful beach and clean, well maintained pool. Delicious drinks brought to you on the beach. No need to walk on the hot sand! Rooms were clean and spacious. Royal Level guests truly treated as royalty. Special praise for Sandra Steeba who was very patient and helpful in making dinner reservations and answering our questions; Renato, our waiter every day at the breakfast buffet, who started our days with a smile and a song; everyone at The Royal Level especially Edgard, manager at Royal Level, who was so friendly and helpful. He actually made my husband a special drink one night after talking about their shared love of bourbon! Ederlina, Karina, Joyce,George, Melvin, Maria, Elena, Lisette & Sylvester. Staff at all restaurants were friendly and went out of their way to make sure our meal was enjoyable. Loved the live entertainment in the lobby bar pre dinner, and music after dinner, as well as the pool tables. Nice alternative if you didn't want to see the show or post show. This our second time at this property. We will be back!

    “another great week in Aruba!”

    Aruba is our favoite island and we come back year after year. Everyone is so friendly and ready to make your stay as great as it can be. My only negative comment is the food in the restaurants--the quality & variety needs to improve.

    “Exemplary efforts!”

    Yesterday my husband and I took a cab into the city to shop. We were there a couple hours before cabbing it back to the resort. We get in our room. Get ready to go to the pool, he looks at me and says, "I don't have my phone. It has to be in a cab... ugh these shorts pockets!" Im thinking we will never see this phone again. Why did he wear such shorts with a clearly known issue? Will we ever get to see the birth photos of our daughter again? Answer to that is, definite no if we dont find the phone... so we calles front desk. No phone. They contacted Franklin a Security Supervisor who took all the info we could remember. He, Sydney and the rest of the amazing security team logged many hours calling cab companies and individual driver. By 8pm they found the phone!!!! Picked it up this morning!! Could not be more grateful for their efforts and all their hard work. Now, to burn those shorts....

    “Honeymoon Hotel!”

    My new husband and I came to Aruba on our honeymoon. I am so happy we decided to stay at the Barceló. The food was great, friendly staff, clean accommodations and just an all around relaxing vacation. We had issues with our luggage (our airline screwed up and we didn't get it until 2 1/2 days after we arrived) and the hotel staff did everything they could to make us feel better. When we come back to Aruba, we will stay at the Barceló!!!!
