    “Lovely hotel ”

    Stayed here on the 5nov for a week with my partner David. Hotel is absolutely amazing. Got lost going to our room when we 1st arrived 😂. Our room was spotless.All the staff were brilliant so friendly,especially the restaurant staff. Can't remember the woman's name who looked after us think it was Anayia, she went beyond her duties. Always had a table for us,quickly took empty plates away and filled our drinks before they were empty. Entertainment round the pool was good especially shuttle ball. Food did get slightly boring but great selection to choose from. We didn't check out till early evening and we were allowed to check out late. Miss this place already, will definitely will be coming back. Thank you for making our holiday special n

    “A hotel with potential but TLC is necessary”

    We wanted to celebrate my wife's birthday and had mixed feelings about this hotel. We were certainly surprised by the cake and bubbly! Very kind! The staff is fabulous and food superb! The facility looks a bit tired . We weren't impressed with the food at the pool bar. The close proximity to Costa Teguise is definitely a bonus ! If an investment could be made then this hotel would shine!

    “Good food but poor kids clubs”

    We had a bad start as the standard of the Family Room given to us is not 4*. We paid an extra €18 a night to upgrade to a Family Suite where it was more like a 4*. The kids clubs are not suitable. The younger age one has some excellent facilities with. small splash pool, play area with slides, massive sand pit and huge indoor area. But unfortunately it more like a crèche format where you leave you child for 2 hours. I would prefer just small activities for 30 minutes where an adult could attend. To add to this when we were there an older child opened the “secure gate” freely and left open. The two kids club organisers weren’t there so we straight away had security concerns. Shame as it’s a lovely set up. The older kids one is from 7-14, which is too big a range. At half term there must have been 16 kids trying to play table tennis. So daft as there were too many kids. The to suggest that my 7 year old daughter could play water polo with some teenage boys who were competitive and inconsiderate was ludicrous. She was eager at first to join in but just didn’t feel comfortable in a group like that. They need to split up the ages to primary age and secondary age. What was gold was the kids slides and kids pool. Even in half term we didn’t struggle to get a lounger or two by the kids pool. Plus the toilets are nearby too. One of the bigger pools with the slides is heated and the larger one is not. I liked this as it meant that the big one was quieter and wasn’t swamped by kids. I should come back to the family suite as the main bedroom is huge but I don’t understand why they opted to just put a retractable curtain between this room and the kids bunk bed room. There’s a door to the kids room off the lounge. The sofa bed was of good quality but only suitable for one adult I’m my opinion. A good sized balcony for seating 4 people and the large shower with two shower heads is great for the kids. Now on to the food. We were pleasantly surprised by the food as there were some cracking options and good variations over the week. The seafood was awesome and the usual options of some fried meats was nice. You can’t go wrong with the food here. Plus breakfast was great for those who like a fry up. Now one thing to bear in mind here is if you’re travelling with someone who can’t walk or finds it difficult as you can encounter lots o fan stairs. The beat place to stay is in block 6 or 7 as you can get a lift directly to the restaurant, pool and reception with encountering any stairs. I wouldn’t go back to this hotel as the kids clubs let it down. Try a H10 hotel as they has some excellent kids clubs and we confirmed this by visiting the one nearby (as we went to one in Tenerife and the activities looked the same). One last thing. We found a cockroach in our room and I couldn’t catch it. So I asked reception for help and they sent a maid who was so scared I felt sorry for her. She sprayed some repellent and left it for the morning. I then found it again and managed to catch it. The hotels response was to leave a bottle of champagne in the fridge without any letter of apology. Plus I would have expected them to fumigate the room. Not convince with this hotel as the rooms look dated (apart from the Family Suite) and the kids clubs were unsuitable for younger kids.

    “Good Hotel. Entertainment not so good.”

    Just back from 11 day holiday here. Overall hotel very good value for money. No issues with food or service at all. While room a little bit tired it was totally functional and clean. Was sceptical before going about the self serve drinks on all inclusive (about abuse by customers not the actual pouring etc) pleasantly surprised to see this eradicated queues for drinks and wasn't abused as far as I could tell. Sadly the entertainment programme (not the animation team!) let's hotel down badly. The few acts on during our stay were a) acrobats, who were all competent in themselves, but in actual tricks etc the same. Three acrobatic teams ( one of them twice!!) b) flamenco. 2 acts on consecutive Saturdays first more traditional and second ballet/flamenco interpretation which I can only describe as disjointed. First hotel I have ever visited that charge customers to park cars (5€ per day) really not impressed by that at all.

    “Lovely holiday”

    Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room had recently been refurbished. The food and drink selection for All inclusive was great - friendly staff in the restaurant. Enjoyed the evening entertainment and daytime activities. We were invited to the A la carte restaurant for a meal which was unexpected as not included in the AI deal we had - we enjoyed the food and the waitress was lovely. The wellness spa was unfortunately closed for refurbishment. I felt the Atlantico bar and Mediterranean restaurant lacked atmosphere without any music. The hotel is on a good bus route. We went to Teguise market on Sunday - 5 euros each what, definitely worth a trip! We used the courtesy coach several times to the beach and found a lovely beach chillout cocktail bar that we loved. There isn’t much around where the hotel is, a second Occidental hotel opposite, a few small shops and supermarket. Nowhere really to walk to. Costa Teguise centre is 3.50 euros in a taxi elsewhere, much more going on there.

The wellness spa was unfortunately closed for refurbishment. I felt the Atlantico bar and Mediterranean restaurant lacked atmosphere without any music. The hotel is on a good bus route. We went to Teguise market on Sunday - 5 euros each what, definitely worth a trip! We used the courtesy coach several times to the beach and found a lovely beach chillout cocktail bar that we loved. There isn’t much around where the hotel is, a second Occidental hotel opposite, a few small shops and supermarket. Nowhere really to walk to. Costa Teguise centre is 3.50 euros in a taxi elsewhere, much more going on there.
