Authentic love stories

Their first date started as many other dates do, but finished with an unique moment. They wandered around Marlborough until they decided to sit in a beautiful park overlooking the village. There, looking up at the sky, a bright twinkle crossed the horizon. A shooting start, perhaps? It was so sudden and unexpected that they both instinctively knew it was a sign. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

Their relationship blossomed, fuelled by a shared love of adventure, which led them to travel the world: from the desert landscapes of Arizona to the lights of Las Vegas, Paris and Los Angeles.

A rebellious spirit by nature, David found in Emily a partner who inspired him to grow and think of both as a team. "She has made me a better person," he confesses. "I've never had a connection with someone like I have with Emily. From the moment I met her, everything felt natural, easy and wonderful."

The day David proposed to her was deeply intimate. It happened on Emily's birthday, a date full of joy, but also full of melancholy, since her grandmother had passed away that same day years ago.

Together they decided to give a new meaning to that date, transforming it into a new celebration. And what better way to do that than with a promise of love, respect and eternal care.

Their love of travel led them to Bavaro beach, in Punta Cana, where they stayed at the Barceló Bávaro Grand Resort. According to David, it was "one of the best places we've ever been on holiday." During a romantic dinner in front of the sea, inspired by the magic of the moment and the beauty of the landscape, the idea of getting married there arose. What started as a dream, soon became a reality.

El día de la boda

The wedding day exceeded all their expectations. It was a day full of tears, laughter and, above all, love.

One of the most emotional moments occurred when Emily showed her dress to her father. He, seeing her as a bride, could not hold back his tears, moved by the magnitude of the moment. David, for his part, was also overwhelmed with emotion as he watched her walk down the aisle. He didn't expect to cry, but the image of his beautiful girlfriend left him speechless and with tears in his eyes. "The most beautiful bride anyone could ask for," he commented in a voice full of love and admiration.

In a sentimental vow, David promised Emily that no matter where life took them, "even the brightest star" would always be by their side. Her words captured the essence of their relationship: a deep and unwavering love, strengthened by every adventure, every challenge and every shared joy.

The wedding was not only a celebration of their love, but also of the strong bond they share with their families and friends. "We couldn't have wished for anything better," David stated. "It was really emotional and beautiful. She was radiant."

The place, on the shores of one of the best beaches in the Dominican Republic, has forever been engraved in their hearts as a dream place, the perfect setting for a day that lasts a lifetime.
