    “Vacation”

    The bartender Rendy at the lobby bar made my trip unforgettable!! He seriously made us the best drinks!! He was so friendly and entertaining to my cousins and I. He made us feel at home!! I’d come back next year just for his drinks.

    “Just Average and way over priced”

    Barceló Aruba hard working staff gets an A++ but for the resort itself three stars is being kind. Let me start at the pool where unless you get up at dawn it is virtually impossible to get a chair or umbrella. Absolutely no wait service around the pool or beach! The only way you get a drink is at the swim up bar where the wait was at times ten minutes. Food, we ate at one really good restaurant L'olio where the lamb was very good. Other restaurants at this property were average at best! Our room was clean and comfortable but our so called ocean view room was a view of the second floor office and lobby bar roof in tower one. Very little ocean or beach could be seen from a very small balcony. Overall it was disappointing experience.

    “Amazing Family vacation”

    Arrived in Aruba Aug 3. Upon arrival we were a bit early. We were told rooms would be ready at 4 and we went and had a late lunch and drinks. At four one room was ready and the other not until 5. We used the other room to change and enjoy the beach area for awhile. Drink selection was just ugh, no top shelve liquor if you were not royal level. That evening I also went to make reservations and I was only able to make 2. That day my husband did speak with someone in the royal level and made arrangements to meet the next morning to make the upgrade. With the upgrade we were able to make reservations for the entire stay, enjoy top shelf drinks, free wi-fi in rooms/beach area, and newsletters of the next days activities, the cost was def worth it all. This upgrade is the way to go and we will be doing this again next year. Food I thought was amazing from the buffet to the others. The seafood place though I would rank very low. Not impressed with the food or wait staff and will not even think about making a reservation there next year. There is a lot of activities on the beach and poolside throughout the day. My son and I did the olympic gams and won. If you plan on getting a hut, plan on waking up very early, my first morning I got on the beach at 6:20 and there were only a handful left. Plan on waking at 5 to get one because you have large families that save five at a time. All in all wonderful trip and we will be back again next year.

    “Another great time with friends”

    Went to Barceló again with my wife and 2 other couples, again was greeted at the front desk by the best people from Martin the manager & his team of Natasha,Balentine,Natalia & Farah, all of them were so helpful especially Martin, all of the restaurants we booked were tremendous from the service we got from Shareen at the seafood restaurant, Paris & Andres service at the Italian restaurant & Michael,Trevor & Warren at the beach breakfast buffet & when you stay on the beach make sure you get Isai as your beach waiter, he was great, lil hint, when you book your restaurants make sure you ask to purchase the lobster tail for additional $, definitely worth it, we did it 3 different nights, they were great, we really enjoyed ourselves again but was a little disappointed with the quality of liquor at the beach bar but all in all was a great time, we will all be booking again soon for next time

    “Amazing place!”

    Barcelo was all inclusive and a wonderful experience that will always be remembered. The staff was so friendly! The rooms were clean and the pool and beach were amazing. The food is good for being all inclusive, there are so many choices to choose from within the Barcelo. The location is great to because you can walk to so shopping and restaurants along the road. Will definitely go back!
