    “Time Share in Aruba”

    The hotel was very nice; room was beyond our expectations; least favorite part of the week was the quality of food at the buffet. Much of the food was inedible in my opinion. Could always count on the hamburger at lunch. The

    “So far not worth the cost.”

    Unless you drink and eat 24/7 the cost of the all inclusive is NOT worth the price which is almost $200 a person and does NOT include wifi. I paid for Wifi and the company charged me twice. I was on the phone with them for 30 minutes to have the one removed. The rooms are great, the view fantastic and the guys at the swim up bar are fabulous. Everyone in the concierge lounge was nice. The lounge bar are is also great...this used to be the casino...now the casino is tiny and the lounge area is large with many chairs and tables, dance floor plus two pool tables. My biggest complaint is the food and cost. I recently spent two weeks at an all inclusive in Cancun and the cost was half the price with twice the variety. I am not impressed with the buffets at all and that is the only option for breakfast and lunch. Went to breakfast buffet and waited 20 minutes in line for a terrible omlette....who puts whole strips of bacon into an omelette? Ever heard of bacon bits...lol. There was very little variety at the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. You need reservations for the speciality restaurants, but by the time you make reservations for later in the week the only time available is after 8pm and this is off season. The lounge chairs are extremely uncomfortable, there are some Cabana beds but they go by 7am and are not shady. The pool and beach are fabulous. There seems to be a ton w of places to eat outside of the resort, but when you spent over $600 a day already...it is hard to justify eating elsewhere...at least if the food is bad on a cruise you can get a refund or onboard credit...the front desk here said there was nothing they could do, buy thanked me for the complaint.

    “one happy island”

    Rendy gave me and my whole family absolutely amazing service. Any questions we had he gave great answers as well as gave us great advice ablut what we should do while in Aruba. Best service we have had in a long time. Barcelo was amazing overall.

    “Barcelo review”

    This was our first time in Aruba. The Barcelo was a very nice resort with a great atmosphere. It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Food was good, especially the Italian restaurant. They would mix up the meals a little bit each night. The resort is beach front and has plenty of seating at the pool and beach for everyone. It’s also right near shopping areas and restaurants across the street. My only complaints were I had to pay for WiFi If I wanted it or I got 1 free hour a day. Also our closet door was broken on arrival, which I didn’t fix since I didn’t use it. The bathroom door was also hard to open/close because it was not on the frame correctly. They had nice little shops in the resort as well. I guess they could add a bar closer to the beach so you don’t have to walk up to the pool for a drink. Overall, great resort, would go back, and recommend

    “Barcelo Stay”

    My stay was good there. Could things have been better, absolutely. The staff was not too friendly. But the location is perfect to be involved in things if you want to be and quiet enough if you don't want to. The beach is beautiful.

    “Barcelo review”


    This was our first time in Aruba. The Barcelo was a very nice resort with a great atmosphere. It was clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Food was good, especially the Italian restaurant.
