    “Old World Charm”

    Nice hotel, spacious room. Plenty of eateries and bars, salon and gift shop inside of hotel. No need to venture the streets nearby, not recommended to venture far from hotel. Hotel is clean and well staffed.

    “Happy with accommodation ”

    We stayed only two nights and I was happy with our accommodations. I had been told not to expect too much in Egypt so I didn’t but the Barceló was nice. There are a few issue not up to standard as some may expect but I think looking around probably better than most in the area. Small things like 6am the shower was cold and 4.30pm after a hot day out the water was hot but maybe because less people wanting it then. The room phone didn’t call out to reception but these are not major issues. The restaurant up stairs we were told you could see the pyramids but they are a long way off and not at night over dinner or from inside the restaurant. The food would have been nice to be local food, it was not other than one dish but still very tasty. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and the area was close to all you would need so it was a very good choice by our travel agent. I would recommend the Barceló to any one who is deciding to stay.

    “Under expectations 👇”

    Firstly we waited for one hour for taking the room even we arrived at 4:00 pm with unfriendly reactions from the reception disk that they are fully booked and need much time for preparing my already reserved room, baby cot delayed 2:30 hrs after 4 reminders and same execuse we have many people here today. Parking small and i should go back again at 1:00 am to move the car from street parking if i was lucky enough to find a place in it. The room is clean and nice but very small and when i asked for changing it they told me it is good we found you one 😏. Not happy from the stay which made me cancel 3 weeks accommodation requests.

    “Nice place, not the best location”

    It is a nice,clean hotel and the service desk was very accommodating to our needs and some last minute changes to the reservation. The check-in is slow and doesn’t help when you are dead tired, cranky and need a bed.. The restaurants are good, breakfast have everything you can think off and the service is friendly. The only bad thing is that the location is in a very poor area for a tourist, you have nowhere to go and nothing to do. Side streets are very dirty and shady... It is close to the pyramids which helps, but if you have down time to kill you will be veeery bored in your room...
