    “My fab June Holiday”

    Just arrived back from a wonderful holiday at Barcelo Isla Canela. I cannot fault this Hotel the service the staff were very special and I was really looked after. The bedrooms were big and always cleaned daily and very comfortable Great location fabulous beach lovely walks. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and the whole area is very different to most of Spain. Fabulous food fabulous people look forward to going back. A very big thank you Barcelo Isla Canela

    “Great hotel don't listen to the negative reviews”

    I've just come back from a great relaxing hoilday from this great hotel so please don't take any notice of the bad reviews on the great hotel obouisley people just complain for the sake of it and are knit picking who obouisley are used to 10* hotel.. You can't fault this hotel its self and some of the staff they do the best they can OK yes a bit tight on the ground and over worked they work tirelessly hard in the restaurant. OK this is a place with not much going on around it bars and restaurants but suit me for a relaxing hoilday with better than being full of larger louts so my be if your looking for lively place my be not for you. So if people have got nothing better do than write bad reviews surgest you go and look for a! 10* hotel! . I had great relaxing hoilday at this lovely well run hotel like lot of people who have given great reviews on this hotel so all I can say barcelo isla canela keep up the great work you do and keep working at it # great hotel :-)

    “Fur coat no knickers”

    First and last time at this so called 4 star hotel Lets start with the good points,nice clean rooms, quiet location nice pool and ample Sun beds. Now the bad,no warm welcome,coach stops on road outside so you have a 70 metre walk with your luggage to reception, you are then checked in with cold precision, if you are in your 70s or above don't expect any assistance with your luggage or shown to your room, this means a wander around a large complex with stairs that might take some time. All inclusive at this place does not mean all inclusive as you are still expected to pay for the vast majority of things,see pics of pricelists.The overall service is poor at best,trying to get a coffee in morning is a free for all, plates are left piled up on tables with waitresses walking passed unfazed,this occurrs at all times of meals and on a daily basis,it appears that extra training is sorely needed, they will point blank refuse to help unless asked,speaking English seems to cause them physical pain, this is not a 4 star hotel on any level,the entertainment is dire and basic,the animation team can hardly put a sentence in English together,no kettles in room, hire a car and pay hotel 13€ a day to use the car park,this is a Hotel operating on a shoestring with corners being cut everywhere you look, it's all geared to fleecing more of your money from you, Barcelo group, you got me once, NEVER again.

We were most concerned to read your remarks on the service you experienced whilst staying among us, mostly because your comments do not reflect the usual standard of service we strive to ensure for our guests, nevertheless please rest assured that your review will be shared with our head of departments for information and further revision. We understand reading your review that apprently you were not properly informed about your All Inclusive basis of your reservation, as reported on our website. Our All Inclusive service includes all types of drinks or food without cost, but not all the Price listed items. We have premium products, which you have to pay 50% of the price. At Barceló we lay high value on our staff being guest oriented and welcoming all the time, being fully aware that their interactions with our guests have an enourmous impact on the overall holiday experience in our hotels, and most of them speak different languages. Therefore we are sincerely sorry to read your comments on the service your received and commit to adjust any situation with English that leads us away from our goal being to make sure our guests feel welcome and satisfied all the time. Regarding the distance between the bus stop and the maiin entrance, the 70metres younote are due to the bus driver parking extremely far from the parking lot. That could have been sorted out easily if you or your rep had told the driver in advance. The luggage service is at our guests dispossal just at your very demand, at any time you told our staff or you rep you needed help, on the other hand the unique shape of our Hotel, specially designed to commit the best sea views give to the building that original shape you argeu about,if we have that wide range of orientations, for the san in the morning/ evening, it is just because the hotel has been designed in such an specifical way. But again, if you had told any member of our staff you had difficulties in findiing any facility, they would had been pleased to help you. Anywhere there is a stair path in the hotel, right next to it or the other way round you find a ramp or a lift, probably you did not notice. Reagardin the kettle matter, there is one of them in each Deluxe or Suite room but, you can always ask for one, if your room is none of the above, under a refundable deposit. The other point of your comment makes reference to the parking; it is not included in the price of the room,as usual, and , of course, it is not mandatory to park inside. Just to inform you, that you can find all this info on our website, through your booking company or you could have asked any doubt you may have had. We are very sorry it wasn´t so. Once again, thank you for your visit and constructive critics, we hope that you had a nice journey back home and to have the pleasure of serving you again in our hotels worldwide ensuring you in advance of our best intentions at all times.     “Not impressed indoor pool closed nothing to do outside”

    Bars not open at night . Seems it does not open until July too quite wish we had known .everyone we arrived with was dissapointed .food was ok .a bus or train journey every day we might of well stayed in anemonte

    “Nice hotel”

    Lovely clean comfortable rooms bed and pillows very good (and I'm fussy), food very good lots of choice, not much outside hotel but suited us as we were looking for a quiet holiday, beach to die for huge and clean

    Just arrived back from a wonderful holiday at Barcelo Isla Canela. I cannot fault this Hotel the service the staff were very special and I was really looked after.
