    “Lovely place in convenient location”

We visited as a family for half-term break with two kids (4 and 7). The hotel is lovely and clean, has two pools (one for little kids), walking distance to the nearest beach. The restaurant was specious divided into two sections. The food was plentiful and lots of variety, especially in the evenings. The quality wasn't amazing but edible. At the back of the restuarant food could be cooked fresh to order, different things every night, the leftovers would be made into a stew the following day. The main pool was good size and not too busy but the water was freezing (it is not heated), the same in the kiddie one. I would recommend catching the courtesy bus to the beach by the dunes (get a free ticket at the reception), it was amazing, spacious, safe for kids, lots of fun and the water in the sea felt warmer too :) The staff were very friendly and helpful, the children loved the two lovely ladies that ran the kids club. We had a lovely time, would stay again if we ever returned to the island.

“Great hotel in a good location ”

We stayed for 2 weeks on half board basis, and overall were very happy with the hotel. The kids pool area is really very good indeed, plenty of space and activities for the kids, and plenty of sun beds for the parents. The "animation" team were brilliant with our 3 year old son, and Petra deserves a special mention for her attentive and very friendly approach to all of us, but especially our son. We had a suite, which worked well for us, with a separate room for our son to sleep in. The room was very clean and tidy, and also very quiet, even though we were pretty close to the kids pool. Food was good, with plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner, and the restaurant never felt overly busy. All of the staff we came into contact with were very friendly and helpful, and all took time to talk to our son, and have a bit of fun with him. The location is ideal, with plenty of restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc., literally a few steps away, and the beach, harbour and old part of the town, about a 10-15 minute walk away. The weather was perfect, so all in all, a great holiday. There were a few little niggles though; Like other reviewers, I find it a bit much to have to pay a daily charge for the use of an in room safe. The wifi in the room was fine, but was pretty much non existent in the rest of the hotel (despite it being advertised as being available throughout) A couple of times during our stay, the daily room servicing was not quite completed. Twice the coffee was not replenished, on another occasion the coffee cups and glasses weren't washed or replaced, and we had to ask for more shower gel, as this hadn't been replenished. We made the hotel aware of what we considered to be a dangerously slippery entry to the shallower end of the kids pool, after my wife slipped and injured her hand. We saw a number of people slip as they were walking into the pool, some going down quite heavily. To be fair, the hotels Guest Experience Manager did make a point of coming and discussing the issue with us, and subsequently checked on my wife's welfare, on more than one occasion. She also promised to take some action to address the issue. The teatro bar available in the evening did feel like an after thought and it would be nice to see the pool bar open later to enjoy an evening drink in a more pleasant setting. For those of us with young children, and therefore back to our rooms fairly early, it would be nice to get some mainstream English TV channels. Despite these "niggles", we had a really enjoyable stay at the hotel, and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others. We will almost certainly return

    “Good hotel. But....”

Just got back from a weeks stay. Brilliant all round hotel. Food good, very clean hotel. Central for everything. We went all inclusive, but if I went again I would go half board, as it's so central we went out most nights as the only bar open on a night was very dark and dismal. If you want to talk it's too loud with the entertainment going on. BUT BEWARE if you have a late pick up, the All inclusive stops at 12 o'clock when you check out ( they cut your bands off you). I have stayed in numerous all inclusive hotels and this is a first for me. Which I think is most unfair as we didn't check in until 7 o'clock at night the Saturday we arrived. The all inclusive package should stop when you get picked up for the airport.
