    “Tranquility and relaxation”

    The hotel is suited in a very nice suburb full of nature. The whole atmosphere relaxes you and puts you in tranquility mode. Rooms are very nice and clean, bed comfortable and bathroom spacious. Breakfast is served in a nice place with a patio for the summer. Sweets in great variety but also muesli, fruits, bacon etc.

    Enforced Councli tax in addition to the cost of the overall stay is harsh and appears to be a penalty by the Italian authorities. Some bar staff lack interpersonal skills. A valuable bought item missing from the room

    “Viaje turismo”

    Good: Very good hotel, excellent attention. Quiet location. Bad: only 2 elevators, gets full very easily and has to wait a lot. Public transportation to the hotel is really bad, only one bus and very hard to figure out the line and stop.

    “Never ever again”

    We booked a three person room for 8 days. Let’s start with something positive. The breakfast is good! We loved it. But now... 1. I sent 2 weeks before visiting the hotel an email but never received an answer. 2. The first impression of the hotel was good untill.... we had to take a shower. The bathroom was not clean. After the first shower, the second person can swim on the ground. The whole bathroom was wet. There is no curtain in the shower so the water goes to every corner in the bathroom. We booked a three person room. But, Every day we got 2 towels... 3. The first day the ac didnt work. That was not a big deal, so the next day i went to the reception to ask how the ac works. The lady told me that the ac is defect and we have to open our window in de night. It was 30 degrees and if you open the window, you cant sleep because its verry noisy outside. After 4 days they gived us one fan for a three person room. The beds are seperated in two parts. So its impossible to use one fan with three persons. So one person had to sleep in a closed room with a temprature of 30 degrees. We asked for one fan more, but that was not possible. 4. Before i rent a car i asked the hotel if it was possible to parc my car for 6 days in the parking because the car is not insured if i parc the car outside (it was a condition of the renting company). The women at the reception told me that it will be oke. So she wrote my platenumber. The next day i wanted to parc the car in the parking but it was closed. I told the person that was standing at the parking that i asked to parc the car in the parckng for 6 days and it was ok. So the person called someone and that person said its ok. The next day the parking was closed again. So i went to the reception, the women that told me that i can parc the car for 6 days at the parking was standing there so i asked her if she can open the parking. She told me its not possible so i asked her why cause you told me i can parc the car there for 6 days. She called the manager and the managar told me the garage is full. I’m sorry but i’m not stupid. So i went to he parking and guess what! There where 4 cars in the parking. My husband asked the manager why she is lying to us. Then she told him there is an event till monday so thats the reason why we cant park the car till monday in the parking. And again... guess what!... in the morning still 4 cars... so my car is standing outside the hotel and its not insured one damage will cost me a lot of money. I told the manager at the reception that i first asked for a place in the parking for 6 days, why didnt she told me that its not possible to reserve the parking otherwise i wouldnt rent a car cause the car is not insured now. Then the manager said to me: ‘ yeah everyone who rent a car saying that’. Ummm. Seriously?!?!? I will never ever go back to this hotel. We paid for the hotel so we have to be here till wednesday. But never never never again!!!

Please accept our sincerest apologies for the imperfections you describe in your review, all rooms reserved for new arrivals are per standard double checked by our head of housekeeping to ensure that everything is functional and spotless for our guests, clearly we were not performing to our usual standard on this occasion and we regret to being informed only now about this problem. At Barceló we strive to provide total confidence in this area being fully aware that hygiene and cleanliness are aspects of major importance for our guests to feel 100% comfortable in our hotel. We are working to improve our services and I would like to highlight that we will provide screens in the showers and baths. About the air conditioning unfortunately we are having a problem in all the rooms of the hotel but we are working to fix them. The only thing that we can do is provide a fan in the room. As you can image we have a limited number of them. The room that we provided for you is a free upgrade to the room you booked. It has a door in the middle, between the living room and the bedroom and a very big balcony. This room has a fantastic view on a natural park, we are sorry if for the lasts two nights there where noises outside but not closer to the hotel there were a neighborhood party. About the parking, we confirm you that it is free of charges and it has limited numbers of parking places. As it was explained, we had en event yesterday and also today so the parking was all reserved for this national event. We did an exception for you. We gave you the opportunity to park inside. We also offered to all the guests a security guard for all the cars parked outside. Please be assured that your comments will be taken into serious consideration and that they will help us to improve our services. Once again, thank you for your time and despite the issues you have raised following your stay, we hope that Barceló will remain an option for your next holiday and that we will have the opportunity to restore your faith in our company in the near future.     “World class”

    If you want some quiet moment with family, this is the perfect place. You'll hear the hummingbirds at night that will make your sleep more relaxing. There are even a supermarket nearby, not to mention gas station if you are traveling by car.

    “Never ever again”
