    “Old hotel and too far out of Rome”

    We stayed in this hotel for two nights as part of a group tour. We found the only easy way to get to the hotel from the city was by taxi which cost €36 and took a long time. This hotel is situated in a suburban area well outside the city, with no attractions, shops or restaurants nearby. Public transport requires taking both a train and a bus plus walking which is not easy with luggage. Check in was fast and the person on reception was friendly. Our room was an ok size with a large balcony. However there was no furniture on the balcony so couldn’t sit out there. The one pillow for each bed were flat and lumpy. We were unable to adjust the room temperature and found the room so warm and stuffy that we had to keep opening the door to the balcony which then made the room too cold. The bathroom had a lot of mould on the walls and looked tired and dirty. We had one dinner and two breakfasts in the hotel restaurant. Dinner was average. The breakfast buffet was poor, very busy and food was not replaced when it ran out. The gym was well equipped but located in the basement and felt uninviting. The elevator didn’t work and you had to go outside and find the steps down to the basement. This is a massive, dated hotel in an inconvenient location. If you have a car it might be ok, but otherwise, I’d suggest staying closer to the city.

    “Sub standard accomodation”

    Our first stop on a 17day tour 2 nights at the Occidental Aran Park Hotel after a very long flight--never again.A very small poorly lit bedroom with an unbelievable shoddy bathroom.The shower over the bath had mould where the wall met the bath-couldnt believe it and the shower water sprayed all over the bathroom floor as there was no shower curtain creating a potentially dangerous situation. .Buffet breakfast quite good.

    “Worst place ever”

    So this hotel is nothing like the pictures we booked a double room yet had 2 single beds barely any lighting air con doesn’t even work staff are rude there was a power cut for over 5 hours no phone call from reception the phones still worked we had to go down and ask and they shrugged there shoulders no refreshments giving or any gestures where the only lighting was no updates or anything avoid this hotel

    “Eye opener”

    Spent 2 nights at this hotel. It is very old and run down. Rooms very small. Very poor lighting. Mould in the bathroom. Linen clean and bed fairly comfortable. It is out of town not close to any major attractions or in walking distance to the centre of Rome.

    “Worst Part of my trip to Italy”

    Very misleading description of the hotel. Rooms were poorly cleaned and constructed. Changed rooms 3 times after they refused to cancelled the remainder of my stay first room toilet didn’t flush, 2nd room power cutoff was without power hotel staff acted as if they could care less. 3rd unfinished painted walls broken boards.Management very rude and condescending file complaint with corporate no follow up or concern avoid this hotel at all cost!
