    “Very nice hotel”

Hotel is really good. The food was tasty. Room very clean with comfy bed. Brilliant entertainment hovewer to loud- we had room on ground floor :/ so we couldn't sleep until the entertainment was over.

“Great hotel with a few issues”

Overall the hotel is very good, slightly outside of town so it’s a little quieter, good food and a really quick wifi. The only thing I would complain about is that there was not enough seating in the lobby at night. The queue for the bar was also really big at times which meant we spend a lot of evenings in the room, with drinks brought from the local spar. And, although the food was very good it did become repetitive. I would have had a couple of meals out on hindsight. If your after a relaxing week away, without spending loads of money then it’s great.

    “Honest review”

My friend and I arrived at this hotel for a 10 night stay. In terms of location it’s about 15 mins from the airport. We had an organised transfer but I think a taxi would be about €28. We were greeted by very harassed reception staff, who seemed to be having a number of conversations between themselves. We actually enquirerd if there was a problem with our booking they were so distracted. When our check in was eventually completed we were given instructions very rapidly, regarding meals and the location of our room etc which were difficult to understand and pointed in the general direction of our room. The safe was €40 for the week with a €10 refundable deposit. A late check out is possible and costs €35 but can only be booked on the day of departure and depends on availability. We had booked a sea view room. The first room we went to had no view. There was also a mouldy smell. After much discussion with the reception staff it was agreed we would ask the next day if it was possible to change rooms. We did change and got a different room - which had a sea view and a kettle. I later found out that this was a superior room. The hotel was clean ( in the main) the food was of a high quality, although slightly repetitive. Meal times were not dissimilar to a school canteen. We were on a half board basis. It is possible to swap your evening meal for lunch and we did so on a regular basis. The bar and buffet restaurant don’t accept cash. You either put down a credit card and agree an amount or you get a receipt to take to reception. This must be paid after each transaction and staff will ‘remind’ guests firmly if this has not been paid. Whilst I can understand this policy I don’t think that it is a good policy for guests. There was one evening that we waited to leave the restaurant after our evening meal for the correct receipt and due to low staffing levels and general busyness in the restaurant no staff were available. We left to go out for the evening but we’re told the next night quite sharply that we hadn’t paid and needed to sort this. Not very relaxing. Neither myself or my friend thought that the staff were helpful at this hotel. The hotel is about a 30min walk from the town centre. €5-6. The hotel also put on a complementary bus service. There are a limited amount of shops and restaurants opposite the hotel. There is a very full day time entertainment program. The evening entertainment could do with some improvement. There is a regular and cheap bus service to arriceffe and puerto del carmen directly outside the hotel and a taxi rank. There is also a shop to hire bikes and book excursions. Unlike any other hotel I have stayed at there was no guest surveys or feedback. The staff could be much more friendly and helpful. I would only stay here again for a really cheap deal or if there was no where else in the area available.

    “Wanted to stay longer ”

The hotel is so elegant throughout. Especially the reception/lobby area Our bedroom was very spacious, double sliding door wardrobe with built in mirrors. Very big shower room. The beds are extremely comfy. We all slept beautifully. Tea & coffee provided in the rooms. The pool area is beautiful with lots of sun loungers. The pool area is cleaned every morning. The pool bar is very good. Self serve soft drinks, hot drinks and slush puppies. The restaurant food was good. Water is served in cold bottles on request which we liked. The animation team are FANTASTIC!! Evening entertainment was good. A live singer(s) on every night before the main stage act. The magician was great. The weather was a let down. It was so cloudy and windy in the mornings and the sun eventually came out around 1-2pm. Can’t wait to return! Hopefully with better weather next time!

    “Disappointing ”

Bit late getting round to this review.... we went for a week end of March. 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 10 months) Check in was ok and smooth. The reception / lobby is lovely. There is a small shop selling basics but over the road there are shops with a full range of choice which we went over too. Room was clean. All in one room with 2 massive beds ( very comfy) small bed for the 5 year old and a cot in the middle of the beds as well. Kettle and tea had coffee facilities in room. Lots of storage in room. We were overlooking the pool and the balcony had a good amount of space. Location of hotel is not that far from hotel so transfer short which is good. There is a kids club which was popular and my daughter went a couple of times. Small playground as well. They have a small kids pool.... not heated! Way too cold. The main pool is split in 2. One side cold! The other side luke warm. Be careful though as when you go down the steps it just drops off so took us by surprise and if your not overly confident in the water take your time. It’s a very very deep pool only one bit I could stand up in. It was so windy and too much for us. Was speaking to a family who had been to Lanzarote before and stayed somewhere else but said it was not that windy there. Really put us off. Bar pool side is always queuing as if you want beer etc you have to queue. Soft drinks self serve. Had food as well from 1230 ( main restaurant is 1). Burgers and salad and chips etc. Food was not good and we were really disappointed. Personal choice but I am not a fussy eater and some meal times I struggled. Eat pizza , chips etc and some weird combinations! I would not return to this hotel sadly.
