    “Remote Area, Accessiblity issues”

    Friendly staff, clean and comfortable beds, Smart TV. Location not good, its in a remote area and construction works going on the site, difficult to reach the hotel. City Centre Me'aisem is close to the hotel.

    “Compare it to Citymax, or premier inn, not at all a 4-Star”

    Inconvenience start even before you check in, there is no proper road entrance, but an unpaved under construction entrance. Location seems like its on the highway, but getting it to it is almost 8 km/5 mile drive inside IMPZ. 2 buildings, one has nothing on it, another one has "OCCIDENTAL", don't go in that, the hotel check in in the other building. no parking assistance, no trolleys, no baggage assistance, no bellboys, carry your own luggage find the hotel desk, in a hotel that is as empty as a haunted mansion on a weekend night. there are no smoking rooms, go out of the building and smoke, where the staff will show you a dustbin with their hands and tell you stand next to it, like a punishment..rooms are small, writing desk is right under a 43 inch tv, smart tv has only 1 app youtube, that too a tech geek can configure it to work, otherwise call room service or housekeeping to which there will be response, as there is no staff in late hours, you have to call the reception to get any assistance. the hotel room, and the hotel reception can be in different buildings, so you have to be walking between them always. BAD EXPERIENCE

We really apologize for not living up your expectations during your stay and even before your arrival. The Hotel is strategically located with easy access from several highways. If you shall trust in the future and decide to come back, do not hesitate to contact the Hotel before your arrival. It will a be a pleasure to assist you with the best suggestions in order to take the right exit from the road and reach the hotel in a very easy way. We apologize if the works in progress in the adjacent roads annoyed and created any inconvenience to arrive to the Hotel. These works are inevitable in order to improve the surroundings of our property. Please accept our most sincerely apologies if we did not show you properly how to get to the main Reception upon your arrival. Our Hotel is composed by two buildings one next to the other (our Conference & Events Centre and the main Hotel) both showing Occidental sign. We do understand it can be a little bit confusing at the beginning, that’s why we are already working on a proper signage element in both buildings in order to avoid these inconveniences. We have also shared with the departments involved your comments about the lack of assistance with the luggage. We will remind our team how to proceed when our bell boy on duty is busy with another guest. We feel very sorry you did not appreciate all our 4* services such as: complimentary shuttle bus service to the main attractions in Dubai, welcome drink and cold face towel upon arrival, complimentary flavored water, fresh fruit, Arabic coffee and dates available at the Reception 24 hours, complimentary water, tea & coffee set in the room every day, as well as a welcome chocolate gift in the room the first day. However, once again all your comments are highly appreciated and will be seriously analyzed in order to keep improving our services and facilities accordingly.
