Located in the center of the city center, the former Spanish home of Zafra, Casa de Zafra, is an emblematic place in the well-known district of the Albaicín. Today, the house has an excellent Interpretation Centre. Strolling through this Moorish neighborhood is a pleasure; the atmosphere oozes and life with tapas routes and small Asian-style shops. In the historic center impressive buildings, such as the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the Monastery of San Jerónimo, symbolize Christianity in Granada and demonstrate the devotion of the Catholic Kings by this beautiful Andalusian City.
