Gran Canaria is a land of contrasts. With our official guide, an expert in the world of wine, you will visit truly unique places on the island
Discover our most exclusive route – a half-day tour lasting approximately 4.5 hours. We operate with small groups of up to 15 people, ensuring a highly personalized service where our guides can craft unique experiences for you. It's a distinct, engaging, and enjoyable way to uncover the essence of our island.
After picking up our guests in the city, we will visit the Viera y Clavijo Canary Garden to learn more about the island's endemic flora. It is the largest botanical garden in Spain, spanning 24 acres. You'll be fascinated by its palm trees, tabaibas, dragon trees, and cacti from all over the world.
Next, we will head to the Bandama Caldera viewpoint to delve into the history and formation of this impressive crater, which is 1 km in diameter and 3 km in perimeter, estimated to be over 5,000 years old. It was named after the 16th-century Flemish architect Daniel Van Damme.
Finally, we will conclude our tour at ancient vineyards covered with lava soil, where we will discover local grape varieties such as Listán Negro and Negramoll. This vineyard, over 200 years old, along with its cellars, stands as a testament to dedication and a passion for oenology. At the end of the tour, we will enjoy a tasting of two of their wines, accompanied by local cheese.
We will return to the city around 2:30 p.m. Feel free to ask your guide for recommendations on excellent restaurants for lunch.
