The Alhambra of Granada stands as one of the most representative monuments of the Andalusian legacy, where architecture, history and landscape come together in a unique setting. This excursion from the Costa del Sol offers the opportunity to explore its main areas with an official guide.
The day begins with pick-up from various locations across Málaga and the Costa del Sol, followed by a coach journey inland. A short stop is made along the route before reaching Granada, with views of Sierra Nevada.
Upon arrival, you will have free time in the city centre to discover some of its most notable landmarks, including the Granada Cathedral, Plaza Nueva and historic streets such as Carrera del Darro and the surroundings of the Paseo de los Tristes.
Later, you will enter the Alhambra for a guided tour of approximately 3 hours. This itinerary covers areas such as the Alcazaba, the former military zone, the Medina, where daily life once took place, and the Palace of Charles V.
The visit also includes the Generalife and its gardens, used as a summer residence by the sultans, as well as parts of the palatine area such as the Partal and the remains of the Abencerrajes Palace. Access to the Nasrid Palaces is not included, allowing more time to focus on other sections of the complex and enjoy the surroundings at a slower pace.
Between walls, gardens and historical remains, the experience provides a well-rounded perspective of the site, where each space reflects centuries of history.
