Description
The Serra de Tramuntana, recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to some of Mallorca’s most striking landscapes. This half-day route visits two of its best-known towns while travelling through mountain roads, coastal viewpoints and valleys filled with olive and almond trees.
The journey begins towards Valldemossa, a mountain village with medieval origins surrounded by terraced hillsides and stone houses. Its peaceful atmosphere and narrow streets attracted artists and writers such as George Sand, Chopin and Rubén Darío. You’ll have free time to wander through the historic centre and enjoy the character of the village at your own pace.
Along the route, there will also be a stop at Sa Foradada, one of Mallorca’s most impressive viewpoints, where the cliffs of the Tramuntana meet the Mediterranean Sea.
The experience continues to Port de Sóller, a former fishing harbour set within a natural bay surrounded by mountains. Here, you can stroll along the seafront promenade, see traditional Mallorcan llaüt boats and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this historic coastal town, once closely linked to the island’s citrus trade.
Sea views, winding mountain roads and the scent of orange groves create a route shaped by some of the most distinctive landscapes in Mallorca.
