Built in 1905, this classicist building was built coinciding with the opening of the Gran Vía de Colón, a fact that significantly changed its urban planning and for which the architectural design that prevailed at the time in the great European capitalswas taken as inspiration.
Designed by the architect Juan Monserrat Vergés, the space that this 5-star hotel in Granada occupies today has a central courtyard of lights and two facades that overlook Gran Vía de Colón and Cetti Meriem Street. Originally, the building consisted of a basement floor where the safes and archives of the Bank were treasured, while the mezzanine floor served as an operations courtyard.
