    “Value for Money is lacking at the Barcelo.”

    This all-inclusive is pricey! The location is nice enough but the hotel, furniture, mattresses are all dated and in need of upgrading. Don't even get me started on the food quality. It was horrible! Even the

    “Royal level”

    The Royal level is the way to go! We were escorted to a private check in to the 9th floor and greeted with champagne and snacks. The concierge Veronica was so proffesional and explained everything we needed to know about the hotel etc. We tried all of the Restaurants but The Royal Level is the best one in the resort. Captain George and his staff made us feel at home. He has a great positive energy and will definitely have a bright future ahead in this business. 5 star service!! The italians restaurant needs to be trained by the Royal Level Chef Arsenio we had the Lamb chops in both restaurant and the one of the Royal Level was by far the best. And the best dinners were always at the Royal Level. We met the F&B Manager Mr Eugene the one day we went for Breakfast in the buffet and were very pleased that he personally called us to our room and checked how our vacation was going. Thank you Eugene. All in all it was memorable vacation and we will return to Barcelo and to the one happy Island Aruba!

    “Very Poor Service and Very Unorganized”

    Zero Poolside Service had to get all drinks and food yourself. Poolside Swim up bar frequently out of Jack Daniels and Mint leaves for Mojitos. You cannot take food from buffets out to the pools if it won't fit into a plastic cup. There was no poolside grill food, no poolside pizza ovens. Room had no liquor dispensors, no beer. When we did get water we found 1 bottle in fridge. Food in general was very dry and tastless compared to other resorts we've stayed. Japanese restaurant was good and Italian, but the chicken breast at the Italian was so dry it was not edible. Sat in the buffet breakfast every morning and waited to be seated and sat minimum 10 min with empty cups waiting for server and coffee. Staff in general looked like they hated their jobs. Except for Rodell whom we only met our last day. Hotel manager one night yelled at his DJ in front of us for trying to show my wife some steps who was having trouble figuring out the beat. He said "I pay you to play music get back in the booth." That manager on nights was bald and is in the wrong business. I will never try another Barcelo. The management in Aruba Barcelo needs to vacation in Cancun Riu Las Americas to see how to keep people coming back. Beware of this place. It was clean that's all I got. I do an all-inclusive every year and I am not a complaining traveler but we were very dissapointed. We will be back in Cancun next year.

    “Aruba Barcelo”

    Overall Excellent Service.. I will be visiting again and again. Clean and Tidy.. Food was good and Lobby Bar was very friendly and fast ... Bell Person was Amazing he is an older white gentlemen. Pool was great too

    “Great vacation ”

    We spent another week in Barceló Aruba Royal Club this May 2018. We are Royal Club members and this is our home resort. As always, our vacation was great, thanks to the people of the Royal Club. From the minute we see the friendly faces of Sandra and Veronica, we know our vacation has begun. I would like to say thank you to all staff of the Royal Club, but special thanks to the people who do their job beyond expectation: George “The Capitan”, Edelina , Lissette, Karina- you are amazing! This year we also met Chef Arsenio in person. We have enjoyed his food for many years. We ate before in all restaurants in Barceló Aruba but for the last 7 years, we eat only at the Royal Club Restaurant because we feel like the food is the best in the resort. Cannot wait to come back again!!!!
