    “Review”

    Nice hotel and facilities. Food was good, plenty of it with a wide variety. The weather was excellent which enabled use to use most of the facilities that were provided. Ideal for a short break. Would stay there again.

    “Four days of a wonderful atmosphere”

    We enjoyed a very relaxing if perhaps too short a time in and around this great hotel. We spent most mornings around the pool and then relaxed in our lovely suite in the afternoons. The beds were comfortable and the buffet restaurant offered a wide choice of tasty food.

    “Pleasant but some room for improvement”

    Hotel in a good position for various key locations, yumbo centre, walking distance to beaches and bus right outside hotel for Maspalomas. Lacks staffing at bars, WiFi is very poor. Otherwise ok weeks vacation.

    “Language and food ”

    Although the food was only warm not hot there was a good range although all inclusive we found ourselves eating out quite a bit. The language barrier was hard to follow in relation to the entertainment who do not go out of their way to accommodate English. Also we thought there would be more entertainment during the day or even music ! And the evening entertainment outside was only very short, 30 minutes long some days. Not for us, maybe more suited to older couples. We did however have a scream at Gumbo which we visited 3 nights out of the 7 we were her, now that's entertainment.

     Dear Julie, In Occidental Hotels we strongly believe that there is always room for improvement and your comments will assist our team in their continuous efforts aimed at meeting our guests' expectations. Regarding your comments about the food, all trays of our buffets are being constantly checked by our kitchen staff to ensure that the temperature of the food is adequate, however, if you feel that the temperature is not the best, always you can use our microwaves and have your food hot according to your taste. We lament reading that our buffet offer did not live up to your expectations, but we kindly inform you that we have at least two meat dishes, two fish dishes and veggie options; as well as different salads, a lot of ingredients to make it on your own; hot and cold soups, cakes, ice-creams and seasonal fruit. Please rest assured that your comments will be shared with our Chefs to enhance our future guests' dining experiences. We sincerely regret reading your disappointment with our entertainment team, they are fantastic profesionals who can communicate with all main nationalities represented by our guests. English, after spanish is the second most spoken language in our hotel, nevertheless we thank you for your remark and will make sure to share your review with our head of departments for improvement. Again, we genuinely appreciate the time you took out of your day to inform us of the inadequacies you experienced during your stay and we sincerely hope that you will allow us another opportunity to demonstrate our true level of hospitality and interest in serving you properly in the future.     “Booked again for our 8th visit we love this hotel”

    We came to this hotel 5 years ago and loved our stay we have been back every year since ,,twice in the same year a couple of times we were here august 2017 for 11nights and bought more family members and have booked to go here again December to spend new years and are bringing more family members again , the food is lovely , the staff are very friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel is the best and we are very much looking forward to our stay for the second time this year .
