    “Not a 4 stars hotel”

    Just got back after staying there for 4 nights with my husband. Room was small with no view, the windows are partly covered so the visitors can't see the cemetery nearby. There is absolutely no privacy in the sink area -just an open space with no door. there were a few confusions. 1) To turn TV on you have to use not a power button, but any numbers on the remote; 2) to turn the heat on you have use button on radiators not a thermostat. A little bit different that we used to. Breakfast on the 1st floor is ok, nothing special. Hotels has 4 stars, but not in compliance with 4 stars accreditation according to the European standards: no free bathrobes and slippers. When I filled in the survey and mentioned it, 3 cookies and a bottle of water were provided as a complementary - which we consider as a not respectful jester. The hotel is located not far from metro. in 10 min you can be in the center . Service and room amenities are ok. Ok 3 stars hotel.

    “Credit card number”

    Occidental Praha is a good place for a travel business, beacuse it is a center of the city, close to the metro, and the room was quite beautiful. But I have an affair with my check-in. The recepcionist asked my credit card and copied it. They said it's a usual process, but I haven't met similar process in other country and at other hotel. Next day I asked again but the other receptionist said this is normal. According to GDPR europian law I think it wasn't regulatory. I am not sure my credit card data will be in safe. Maybe they should rethink the process of the check-in.And I have to wait much more one hour to get the card of the room. My room was ready after 3pm.

    “Fabulous! ”

    Me and my partner have just got home from staying here. The only word we have is fabulous!! We stayed in the executive suite on the 14th floor. We had a huge, soft and comfy bed with a nice sized spacious room and open plan bathroom. Would of preferred more privacy for the bathroom but it was ok for me and my partner. The room is clean, we didn’t have any complaints about it. There was a crack in the side of the shower that kept leaking when we showered but it wasn’t an issue as such! The bar is lovely and the barman was brill. Everyone is very helpful. The metro is 5 minutes down the road and brilliant form of transport if you want to go exploring. We went out all three days :). Really couldn’t fault it and will hopefully be visiting again soon!!!

    “Pleasant stay away from the crowd”

    The room I got was very spacious, has a comfy bed with lots of pillow which I loved. There was a card with hand written greeting message from a staff member which I thought is a very lovely touch. Staff were all friendly. Although it’s not in the central of Prague, you can go to tourist attractions by metro only taking around 15-30mins so it wasn’t an issue for me(and the hotels in central tend to be quite pricy considering the quality)

    “It was everything and more!”

    Outstanding! I cant find a single fault! The only *negative* is it was quite nosey, banging from building work going on, people were inconsiderate when walking past during the night and fellow customers were shouting down the corridor... this isn't the hotels fault but possible try to reinforce 'please be respectful to other customers that might be sleeping' or something along those lines!
