This exclusive Jeep tour is the best possible way to discover and experience the true beauty of Gozo, take spectacular photographs of the breath-taking scenery, experience Gozo’s magnificent heritage, visit key landmarks, and discover hidden gems, all while relishing the impressive beauty and distinctive charm this tiny island has to offer.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your accommodation (or a close meeting point) to travel to the island of Gozo. Upon your arrival at Mġarr Harbour (Gozo’s main harbour), you will board one of our Jeeps, where you will be taken on an unforgettable journey around the beautiful island of Gozo. Each jeep will have one of our experienced drivers, who will also provide you with explanations and information throughout the entire journey. Additional information is provided at each stop in the language you have booked.  

As you travel through numerous villages, valleys, and backroads, you will enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the island of Gozo. The tour will take you to some of the most picturesque locations and significant landmarks on the island. You will visit gorgeous locations such as the Daħlet Qorrot Valley, the quaint village of Nadur, Ramla Valley, the famous Calypso Cave, and the megalithic temples of Ġgantija, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest freestanding structures in the world! Here you will also have some free time to visit the temples (entry ticket to Ġgantija Temples is not included).  

After enjoying a delightful buffet lunch washed down with some nice chilled Gozitan wine, you will proceed to the second part of the tour, which will take you to some other marvellous sites, such as the picturesque bay of Xlendi, the majestic mediaeval Citadel fortress, which is located in the heart of Victoria (the capital city of Gozo), a traditional limestone quarry, the gorgeous Dwejra Bay and its inland sea, where you will have the opportunity to take an optional boat trip (boat trip not included in the price), the Mielaħ Valley, and the famous salt pans, where you can learn how salt has been produced from the sea since Roman times.

Driving past the seaside resort town of Marsalforn Bay, we will reach Mġarr Harbour, where you will board one of our boats for your return journey to Malta. During the boat trip, you will be passing by the beautiful island of Comino, catching glimpses of the famous Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and the Sea Caves (the boat transfer is subject to weather conditions and other operational considerations; in the event that this is not feasible, the return trip will be done by using the communal Gozo Channel ferry).

Weather permitting, during high season (usually from April till October), we will also stop for a refreshing swim at Comino Island (don't forget to bring your swimwear!).

What should you know before you go?

• The time shown on the website or on your ticket is the approximate start time of the activity and not the time when you will be picked up from your hotel (or closest meeting point). At least a few days before the date of your activity, you need to make sure to contact the tour operator to confirm your pick-up location and pick-up time.

• To confirm your pick-up location (meeting point) and your pick-up time, please send an e-mail to internal-tours@robertarrigo.com at least a few days before the date of your activity. Make sure to include your booking reference number in the e-mail.

• While driving, the default language might be English; however, at each stop, customers can approach the tour leader speaking their language for more thorough explanations.

• A swim stop at Comino Island is included during high/shoulder season (usually from April till October); do not forget to bring your swimwear. The swim stop is subject to weather and sea conditions.

• The return journey to Malta will be done on one of our boats, passing by the beautiful island of Comino and catching glimpses of the famous Blue Lagoon, Crystal Lagoon, and the Sea Caves (the boat transfer is always subject to weather conditions and other operational considerations; in the event that this is not feasible, the return trip will be done by using the communal Gozo Channel ferry).

• The boat trip at Dwejra Bay is not included in the price of your package; the boat trip is optional (to be paid on location) and can only be done subject to favourable weather conditions. The cost of the boat trip is around €6 per person; however, please note that the fee can change without prior notice.

• The entrance fee to the temples of Ġgantija is not included in the price of your package; if you wish to visit the temples, you will have some free time to do so. The cost of the ticket is around €10 per person; however, please note that the fee can change without prior notice.

• The provider reserves the right to utilise any 4x4 Jeeps/UTV's from its fleet based on availability and operational circumstances, which may differ from those featured in the photos.

• No particular dress code is required; we suggest wearing comfortable clothes according to the forecasted weather.

• The tour is not wheelchair-accessible.

• Foldable strollers are allowed during the tour.

• Pets, large luggage, and large suitcases are not allowed during the tour.

• Any personal belongings, including backpacks or rucksacks, must be carried with you at all times and may not be left unattended on the Jeeps.

• The tour is not recommended for travellers with mobility impairments.

• Both electronic and paper vouchers are accepted.

• The itinerary or programme is subject to change without prior notice, depending on weather conditions, restrictions, unforeseen circumstances, or other operational constraints.

• If the tour is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered to reschedule your activity on a different date; if you cannot reschedule, a full refund will be given.
