Description

Zellige is one of the most distinctive forms of Moroccan craftsmanship, commonly seen in fountains, courtyards and historic buildings. This workshop in Tangier offers a hands-on introduction to this traditional technique.

The session takes place in a working environment where traditional tools and materials are used. Under the guidance of an artisan, participants learn how to cut, arrange and assemble small tiles to create geometric patterns.

Throughout the workshop, you will work with designs inspired by traditional motifs, gaining insight into the precision and detail required in this craft.

All necessary materials and protective equipment are provided, allowing you to focus on the process in a safe and structured setting.

At the end of the session, you will take your finished piece home as a personal souvenir.

A practical experience designed to explore Moroccan craftsmanship through direct participation.
